I see alot of talk about raising $ to cover #AMC debt. Personally, i think the most sustainable way to support $AMC is to continue visiting the movies and buying and holding. Show support through love of the product and the rest will follow.

Finally, yes, main borrowers of shares are short sellers (tho some borrow for dividends or votes). Yes, short selling can depress the price of the stock. This is why pension funds stopped lending: they earned a fee but probably lost more than that when portfolio value fell.
