quackd v0.17.0 is out!
OpenRouter is quackd's 12th cloud vendor. One key and one bill now reach models made by many vendors, and a turn is costed at what OpenRouter billed.
For example, --llm openrouter asks openai/gpt-6-sol, one of six rows quackd carries for it (openai/gpt-6-luna, anthropic/claude-sonnet-5.5, anthropic/claude-opus-5.5, google/gemini-3.8-flash and x-ai/grok-4.7). Any other id on OpenRouter's public model list that supports tool calling is taken too, checked against that list (no key needed) before the first paid call and priced from it. An id the list lacks, one without tool calling, or one that is expiring is refused, and a free model is limited the way OpenRouter limits it.
In plain terms: the pilot still picks the next short piece of work from the robot's verbs, but the model behind it can now be any OpenRouter model that can call tools, paid on one bill. When OpenRouter reports a cost, that is the turn's cost. None of it has answered a real quackd request yet: every chat request went to a stand-in, and only the model list check reached OpenRouter itself.
