Hey #lokius legion, I’m tired of seeing kissing robots clogging my timeline. If you see this, post your fave Lokius kiss fanarts, so we can do a mass timeline cleanse! I’ll start with this perfection by @Kira_Sysh 💚🧡💚🧡

"But it's a public website!" So are art portfolios, photography websites, and countless other places where creators share their work. Publicly accessible doesn't mean public domain. The internet being able to access something doesn't mean the internet owns it.

For those of you fighting writers who keep asking for their work to not be thrown around like candy…this is directly from AO3’s T&Cs. tldr: if you don’t have direct permission, then you Don’t Have Permission.

writers who have been procrastinating (me) and have unfinished fics that haven't been updated in a long time (also me) we (me specifically) have an opportunity to catch up and surprise our readers when ao3 is back

rather than saying sir patrick stewart last role is in doomsday and not some profound movie, its bittersweet that he gets to act one last time reprising one of his most beloved roles alongside his beloved best friend sir ian mckellen, like if its not doomsday then where else

Re: Sharing of downloaded fics due to AO3 outage Pls try your best to find the authors of fics you read while we’re surviving on pdf of fics. Writers are already sad when they publish on ao3 and receive little feedback. Now their fics are shared around completely untethered to

when do you think we'll have the conversations about readers sharing gdrives of other people's work when a ton of authors have stopped using gdocs because of the ai scraping and integration

i don't have an issue with people downloading my fics for their own use, but i think uploading them and making them widely available on a site i have not agreed to have them on without my consent is a little bit different

am I too woke of a fic writer to be a little conflicted about fics being downloaded to personal drives without the author’s knowledge and shared/read without the author gaining any site engagment or is this something I should brush off and get over /gen
