People are freaking out, asking about Yubikeys and other hardened 2FA. While that's never a bad idea, it provides very little protection against an RCE type of attack vector. The bad actor is literally in the servers, with the ability to replace a kernel or intercept anything.
What's needed is to reduce attack surface. You shouldn't have shared so much info with vendors in the past. And you should work to get it deleted for the future.
If you're not rapidly maintaining your own software, it should go away. Don't just think about securing software, think more about not even opening ports to the Internet or shared subnets.

Next time you go through the drive-thru for an iced coffee, ask them if it’s freshly brewed or from a concentrate.
Most of our direct competitors do not brew it freshly, it comes out of a bottle. McD brews it around the clock. We use a milk/cream based creamer. As for the sweetener- it’s up to you, our standard is a liquid sugar, you can always substitute for granulated sugar, Splenda or equal.
