The Golden State Valkyries are one win away from the franchise's first WNBA title after beating the Atlanta Dream 64-55 in Game 5. They take a 3-2 series lead to Atlanta for what could potentially be a matinee championship clinching game.

ONE WIN AWAY ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! THANK YOU ZENDAYA (I'll get watch the Celtics game at some point but the Valkyries have paved the road on unprecedented territory)

Seeing Scal bumble through the opening broadcast walking back his statements and saying "Jaylen didn't ask for a trade. I actually don't know what he demanded" with his hair messed up, clothes wrinkled was so funny to me. What were you doing then? Brad got the snipers on him
derekwkim@derekwkim12h
If you believe Scal's story (which he just walked back on TV), then I have a bridge to sell you. I believe Brad when he said he wants the team flexible on the court and financially while having future options. He's been trying to get value for JB for years. A bet but a vision

Also, if it was true then it makes the Celtics organization look worse. Like, you allow players to pull a GoT-Littlefinger on you. Think before you make stuff up. Mortgage is coming up next week. But man some y'all are desperate for a conspiracy. No one's bigger than the program.

I cannot believe that Eric Bauza has passed away, at age 46. We’d just talked about his life and his voices and his son. A shattering loss

Picked up Annihilation steelbook. Nice cover art. This might be Garland’s most complete work maybe just slightly over Ex Machina and his show Devs in my opinion.

It’s been a while. Picked up more discs today. The Drama Iphigenia (Blind buy. Apparently, it’s that part before the Odyssey when Agamemnon sacrificed his child for safer passage to Troy. Oof, tough)

From Hugo González’s limited runway to Sam Hauser’s increasingly secure role, I looked at who Joe Mazzulla trusts, how he’s staggering his stars and what could change next. For @celticsblog: celticsblog.com/celtics-anal…

What is Joe Mazzulla’s rotation telling us after two games?

Eleven Celtics have played. The minutes are already offering clues about who Joe Mazzulla trusts the most.

Perfect example that shit doesn’t have to stay toxic. The team and the fans hated Ray when he chose the Heat. Time heals all wounds. The guys have made up, Ray comes to cheer on Tatum and the boys, and he gets celebrated. It doesn’t have to stay this way forever Jaylen

lmaoo he had a great game (more of that please), and I love the confidence If this is the one, Queta did turn the ball over the very second he made that decision. So funny. But honestly, he should do this more often

Still not really over Neemi last night calling his own number and faking a DHO to Tatum in nutcrunch time with 2 mins left

Lamb chops and gravy? He should stay ready at all times?

To me this whole thing is just funny. If it’s not obvious, JB has a very specific sense of humor (even with using emojis) but also psyches himself out for competition. And JT is JT, the most uncontroversial star ever. The whole thing isn’t that serious. Media loves to milk it tho

Got to ask Veronica Burton about diagnosing the Dream’s help defense, as well as their lower pick-up points (with her fussing at an off-screen Kaitlyn Chen for flipping a water bottle in the process lol)
