Massive congratulations to House and Senate Democrats across the country for bringing a Bluenami to Congress. The Democratic Party has been, and will continue to be, the party of working Americans seeking access to the American Dream. I look forward to helping the Democratic majorities enact an affirmative vision for lifting up all Americans, especially the ones under attack by Donald Trump. And it’s time, once and for all, to hold Trump, his family and his administration accountable for their rank corruption and abuse of power.

Just one day before the anniversary of Kristalnacht, anti-Israel groups in Philadelphia have planned a “Boycott Ride” aimed at forcing Jewish and Israeli-owned businesses out of the city. We must stand proudly with these businesses and reject antisemitic hate in our communities, plain and simple. jewishinsider.com/2026/11/bi…

Impeach Hegseth and Blanche. The Pentagon and DOJ are too important to be left in their hands. And it will be important to bar them from federal service forever.
A US military source says: "Hegseth's days are numbered". There are differing views on why - some believe he will face inevitable impeachment by the Democrats, others believe Trump will sack him as the fall guy for the disastrous Iran war. Either way, he has already alienated significant parts of the US military. One senior military officer, not authorised to speak on the record, tells @thetimes: "Personally, after decades of service and five combat deployments I’m just tired of being called ‘woke’ by a secretary who seems to spend more time worrying about NCO business than actually making serious policy decisions."

New low for normalized Jew-hate in the American Democratic Party. Very sad: Painting your political opponents as puppets of Jews, as this El-Sayed ad does, and as crazed baby-killers and money-grubbing villains who are the root cause of every bad thing not just in the world, but in your life—from wars to the price of eggs to the reason you can’t have free healthcare—is not just low-grade Jew-hate. It’s pure Third Reich stuff, translated directly from the original German. Do you remember when Jewish Democrats in Michigan explained that they would vote for El-Sayed despite his open disdain for Jews, since there are many other important issues they need him to fight for? That anything was worth it to “defeat MAGA”? Well, here’s El-Sayed’s answer to them: Don’t worry, all those issues we agree on, like healthcare, inflation, and climate change, I’m going to make them about Jews too! I will tell the public that the Jews are the reason they can’t have those things.

A review of the Airwars incident report shows how over time, based on Hamas & PIJ martyr notices, what was initially reported as "civilian only" turns out to have killed combatants, several commander level. I will bet this number goes to 10+ eventually. airwars.org/incidents/ispt00…

Amnesty's Gaza "genocide" report relies on 15 airstrike cases as evidence that IDF targeted ONLY civilians. FIVE are now proven to have killed combatants. A key example, the Oct 9, 2023 attack on Jabalia market, now has 6 proven combatants killed and that number is growing.

The BBC has agreed to pay £400,000 to an award-winning Jewish documentary-maker who alleged she was subjected to antisemitism and pushed out of the corporation after October 7. Lucie Kon, 57, spent 22 years at the BBC and worked on programmes including Panorama, Today, BBC Breakfast and Storyville. Films she commissioned or helped produce won an Oscar, Emmy and Bafta. Kon says her treatment changed dramatically after the Hamas attacks. She alleges colleagues described Zionists like her as “evil”, argued that Israel should be called terrorist if Hamas was, and told her to consider what had driven Hamas to carry out the massacre. When she proposed a documentary about October 7, Kon says she was told she was “too partial” to oversee it because she was Jewish. She subsequently filed a formal grievance, but a BBC investigation rejected her complaint. Kon says she was then kept away from work for months. During a restructuring, her position was made redundant and she failed to secure the similar role replacing it. She launched unfair-dismissal proceedings. The BBC has now agreed substantial compensation, reported as £400,000, without admitting liability or accepting that Kon suffered antisemitism. Kon says Jewish employees still at the corporation continue to face hostility and feel unable to identify openly as Jewish or Zionist.

For those hungry for more ideology from human rights & humanitarian NGOs, tomorrow @MSF serves up a fresh “-cide” salad: a talk on Israeli “futuricide.” It joins at least 20 other “-cides” coined or amplified by the sectors, today overwhelmingly directed at Israel: ecocide, scholasticide, educide, epistemicide, mindocide, scienticide, domicide, urbicide, spaciocide, culturicide, genocide, ethnocide, memoricide, medicide, politicide, sociocide, democide, humanitycide, Palestiniacide & reproicide. Watch this latest neologism travel, largely unscrutinized, from academic paper to NGO platform, from media feed to front page—to a protest near you.

Trump claims lifting sanctions on Russia will lower diesel prices. Instead, prices are still at record highs, and Putin’s war chest is growing at the American taxpayer’s expense. Putin is bombing Ukrainian power plants heading into winter. We need maximum pressure, not a pass.

Israel is arguably guilty of war crimes in Gaza, but to charge it with genocude dilutes the meaning of the term. It also makes it more difficult to have a serious conversation about what to do about the destructive things it is doing. richardhaass.substack.com/p/…

Speaking of betrayal of principles, Amnesty didn’t support the boycott of South African sports teams during apartheid because that wasn’t considered part of its mandate. That all changed when it came to Israel.
⚽Israel’s participation in the UEFA Nations League is a betrayal Despite clear evidence that Israel’s football association continues to support illegal settlements, Israel's men’s football team will participate in the UEFA Nations League this autumn. amn.st/6017BGdzID
