Mr. Thunder breaks his silence on OKC’s first championship:

Seeing a lot of OKC Thunder hate on the timeline. My favorite is "OKC doesn't deserve a team"
Bro, they EARNED a team by how they embraced the Hornets after Katrina. They got a once in a lifetime chance to audition for a franchise and the city passed with flying colors.

Imagine telling Oklahoma in 2001 that their state would win an NBA championship before another CFB title.

Don’t let anyone tell you Oklahoma didn’t show out today.
Incredible turn out.
Incredible day for the city, state, fans and team.

Clay Bennett getting the trophy, raising it while handing it to the players and walking off the stage without saying a word was an all-time ownership performance.

everyone disagreeing with this because of Giannis and Jokic is forgetting one extra thing Shai has that they didn’t:

Explain.
Devon Mobley retweeted
Grow up losers, Shai draws fouls because he has a zillion moves that compromise defenders’ positioning. Thunder get away with more touch fouls because they defend with their feet first. Difficult to understand if you are a non-ball-knower but you don’t want this burden anyway

Complain all you want about SGA: The Thunder lived in the paint all game. The Wolves were bricking 3s all game.
61% of Minnesota's shots were 3s
60% of OKC's shots were in the paint
Minnesota also both needs to find a way better shot profile and prevent OKC paint penetration.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander certainly did flop and draw some fouls, referees shouldn't reward him the way they did. But the Timberwolves, including Anthony Edwards, made very little effort to attack the basket all game long.

a superset of SQL (Cerner Millennium's CCL) was exactly what I learned as my first programming language.
All things in programming begin and end with data at rest. I don't think it's a bad way to start.
And to this day it serves me. SQL is not just fine. It's great.
