😡 Jeremy Kyle completely lost it with Lib Dem MP Christine Jardine on TalkTV this morning.
Lib Dem MP Christine Jardine went on TalkTV with Jeremy Kyle and claimed small boat migrants are genuine refugees and genuine asylum seekers, which really wound Jeremy up.
Christine: “The people who come here are genuine refugees, genuine asylum seekers… whether you agree with it or not, it is a simple fact that a lot of the people who come to this country are fleeing persecution.”
A clearly frustrated Jeremy jumped straight in:
“You have to be able to talk in facts. You cannot come out with comments like ‘some of them are escaping persecution’… When will we drop this ludicrous belief that these people who cross seven war-torn countries without their wives and kids come to the United Kingdom to apparently work? They come because we give them far more than any other country – which is why they come here!”
Spot on, Jeremy.
This is exactly why they risk their lives leaving a wealthy, safe nation like France to reach the UK. They know precisely what awaits them if they make it: free accommodation, priority NHS treatment, free dental care, free driving lessons – the lot. We make the gamble worth taking. And in the very few cases where we do decide they should leave, we actually pay them to go.

Newcastle are the “Richest club in the world” but the PSR rules have stopped Newcastle progressing into the Worlds elite club.
Clubs like Newcastle, Aston Villa, Brighton, West Ham, Everton and others can spend just enough money to challenge towards the top of the Premier League, but ultimately PSR stops them spending like others and eventually they fall back into the pack, like what’s happened to Newcastle and West Ham.
Clubs like Newcastle have had to sell their best players to “BIGGER CLUBS” like Alexander Isak to Liverpool and in all probability, Bruno Guimarães to Arsenal to comply with PSR.
PSR protects the “BIG CLUBS” at the expense of the “smaller clubs”.
Let’s see how these new SCR and SSR rules go, but I’d imagine they too will protect clubs like Liverpool and Arsenal.
