Hedge funds with max leverage all short bonds together is getting no attention - point to @SecScottBessent as Bloomberg bros have to hold his coffee - SPOILER: Scotty B doesn't come back down the elevator
Hedge funds can run 20-100x leverage on US Treasuries via near-zero repo haircuts and low futures margins, versus typical 2-5x on equities or traditional assets—often 10-50 times higher. Scotty B (Bessent) declared himself the house in Sept over interventions. His buybacks and issuance shifts have been felt, but yields still climbed; he later noted the house doesn't win every hand. Presence registered, markets still testing.

When do the $MARA $RIOT $CIFR $HUT of the universe start thinking outside of the box by looking at a $AMSC type of business?

This is great! The only thing he forgot to mention is everyone needs a higher power - whatever that is - it shouldn’t be politics! #throwthemallout and bring @RonPaul back, after longevity treatments of course
This guy said the quiet part out loud and you can feel his anger and disgust… I couldn’t agree more..

🇺🇸❤️ WE MET PRESIDENT TRUMP TONIGHT! ❤️🇺🇸 What an extraordinary evening for our family! Tonight, Braelyn, Ben, and I had the incredible opportunity to meet President Trump at the rally in Pendleton, South Carolina! We had only about 20–30 seconds with him, and I knew I needed to make every second count. I introduced him to Braelyn and thanked him for telling Dr. Oz about her brain cancer story. I explained that Braelyn had been diagnosed with glioblastoma, the deadliest type of brain tumor, but that today she is CANCER-FREE after receiving DCVax-L, a personalized cancer vaccine developed right here in America! Yet we must travel all the way to England for her ongoing treatments because we cannot access it here in the United States. Then something pretty cool happened! President Trump turned to one of his staffers and instructed them to get me in touch with Dr. Oz! I also expressed my hope that we could connect with Secretary Kennedy. As our brief time together came to an end, I made one final appeal: “Please help bring this American-made treatment back home to America.” President Trump was incredibly gracious to our family and very kind to Braelyn. We are so grateful for the opportunity to speak with him! Earlier in the evening, I was also able to give a member of his staff a detailed packet about Braelyn’s journey, DCVax-L, and the obstacles American patients face in accessing promising investigational treatments. Now we are praying that the connection with Dr. Oz comes through! Three years ago, Braelyn was given just months to live. Today, she’s 19, attending college, and her latest MRI shows NO EVIDENCE OF DISEASE RECURRENCE! Tonight, we had the opportunity to bring her story directly to the President of the United States. ❤️ My prayer is that this opens the door to a much bigger conversation—one that could change the future for countless American cancer patients. 📸 We were not permitted to bring our phones into the private meeting with President Trump, so we couldn’t take our own pictures with him. His staff took an official photograph of us together, which we’re told will be emailed to us. I can’t wait to share it! In the meantime, here are some pictures from our unforgettable evening. Thank you to EVERYONE who helped make tonight possible and to all of you who continue to share Braelyn’s story. You helped us get this far, and we’re not stopping now! ❤️🙏 @realDonaldTrump @DrOzCMS @WhiteHouse #DCVaxForBraelyn #DCVax

So then why is $CCI and $AMT catching a bid?
T-Mobile spent five years trying to get rid of the exact spectrum Elon just called "the last critical piece" of complete phone coverage in America. This 800 MHz block is Sprint's old Nextel spectrum, the stuff that powered push-to-talk walkie-talkie phones in 2004. The DOJ forced T-Mobile to divest it as a condition of the $26 billion Sprint merger. Dish had first rights at $3.59 billion and walked away because it couldn't raise the money. T-Mobile finally offloaded it to an investment firm called Grain Management last year for $2.9 billion plus a spectrum swap. Grain's original plan was selling it to utilities for private networks. Fourteen months later, SpaceX buys the whole portfolio, and shares of the carriers who passed on it fall as much as 8% in a single afternoon. Here's why it matters so much. Starlink's satellite signal at 2 GHz can reach your phone outdoors, but it dies at the first wall. 800 MHz penetrates buildings. Most phones already have the band built in. So satellites handle the open sky, this low-band layer handles indoors, and suddenly Starlink Mobile covers everywhere a normal carrier does without the tower network. Stack the moves. $17 billion for EchoStar's 50 MHz of 2 GHz spectrum. FCC approval for 15,000 Gen2 satellites this week. Now the low-band coverage layer. Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile paid $81 billion in a single auction for C-band spectrum in 2021, then spent years and tens of billions more deploying it on towers. SpaceX assembled a nationwide carrier out of a distressed-asset sale, a forced divestiture castoff, and rockets it already owns. The walkie-talkie spectrum from 2004 ended up being the piece that lets satellites replace cell towers. Nobody who touched it for twenty years saw that coming.

Minimum wage in 1963 in the US was $1.25 That was 5 silver quarters. Today the melt value of those 5 silver quarters is $57.90. Instead, US Federal minimum wage is $7.25 That's the whole ruse...that's the whole game. @wbmosler

“If you're reading this, you are also a frog being boiled alive in a pot of financial repression, monetary debasement, and obfuscating @federalreserve communications. “ 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
QUICK THOUGHTS RE: FED DECISION AND WARSH PRESSER: “We’re not a Wall Street newsletter. We stay in our lane.” —Kevin Warsh 9/16/26 “As the CEO of ‘a Wall Street newsletter’ that is helping thousands of investors around the world retire on time and comfortably and someone from the bottom 0.0001% of the K-shaped economy that decades of over-easy monetary policy helped perpetuate, I feel that We the People have a responsibility to hold our elected and unelected officials accountable. This is our lane. Helping the ~92 million American households who live paycheck-to-paycheck understand why their purchasing power has collapsed at an accelerating rate over the past 5, 10, 15, 20, and 50 years is ‘our lane’ too.” —Darius Dale 9/16/26 “Today’s policy action will support a timelier return to the Committee’s 2 percent goal.” —FOMC Statement 9/16/26 “Today’s Summary of Economic Projections is the first time I realized that 2029 precedes 2028 in chronological terms, because the Fed punted its projected achievement of its 2% inflation target ‘backward’ (read: forward) by one year.” —Darius Dale 9/16/26 If you're reading this, you are also a frog being boiled alive in a pot of financial repression, monetary debasement, and obfuscating @federalreserve communications. One of the reasons I chose to quit my lucrative Wall Street job 5.5 years ago to earn $0 while building @42Macro was to ensure that your family does not fall victim to the historic Cantillon effect that is the key driver of the K-shaped economy. Q: What is causing this historic Cantillon effect that nearly 100 million American families are suffering from (i.e., the share of US households who live paycheck-to-paycheck, per $JPM)? A: Decades of fiscal, monetary, and regulatory policies that have overwhelmingly favored people who can afford to buy political influence in the K-1/capital class over those who cannot in the W-2 labor class.

Why don’t they just admit they’re upset that $MARA has done little capital markets business with them and they’re elated to upgrade $IREN as a thank you for the business on their converts/ATM/secondary offerings not to mention their original IPO itself…

Too few understand why they need to own hard assets. They’ll find out one way or another
Bessent wants the Fed to print money to intervene in the yen because he already spent all of the Treasury's foreign exchange reserves earlier. The US barely owns any foreign exchange because, as the issuer of the world's reserve currency, it generally doesn't have to intervene in its own currency... But now the US fiscal situation has deteriorated to such a degree that Japan cannot be allowed to sell their holdings. To keep this war going, Bessent now has to juggle the yen, the oil market and the US Treasury market... what could possibly go wrong?

There is a 250,000 sq ft building that is no longer a mattress factory in Quebec. It was retrofitted into a Tier 3 AI data center by @WhiteFiber_ and now powers high-performance AI workloads. The WhiteFiber team has over 15 years of experience turning forgotten industrial buildings into powerhouse data centers, long before the "AI gold rush" even started. While other companies fight for permits on greenfield sites that likely won’t have power for 3+ years, WhiteFiber has already been live and shipping capacity. The obvious truth is AI demand is exploding. The non-obvious truth is that the winners likely won’t be the ones with the fanciest chips, they’ll be the ones who can actually deliver power and racks. Speed is the moat.

No, not entirely. Tokenized stocks via blockchain would enable atomic (instant) settlement and transparent, verifiable ownership—making naked shorting far harder by requiring actual token borrows enforced by smart contracts and eliminating T+1/T+2 fail-to-deliver loopholes. Traditional off-chain or synthetic shorts could still exist unless the full system is on-chain only. It would dramatically reduce abuse, though.
