2 weeks after it arrived, Barra's 1st Great Crested Grebe is still on Loch Ob: maybe it'll winter here! Today also produced another wave of Redwings, a few Woodcock, Bramblings, Blackcaps and Chiffchaffs and surprisingly 2 late Willow Warblers at Bruernish.

Then had a perfect view of a kestrel stoop onto a small mammal in one of the wood pasture fields, quite close to me. The barn owls with their single fledgling seem to be keeping well but still in doubt for the fledgling. Finally, cormorants have found our beaver ponds.

The mainstream media lectures us constantly….yet happily platforms the creepiest guys imaginable. From
David Walliams and Russell Brand to paedophile apologists like Stephen Fry and Peter Tatchell. They’re not even hiding in plain sight.

Rape convictions for historical crimes, like Russell Brand's, have drawn out the men who know they raped women in the past, perhaps as students, when they were younger. They now have families, but on one level are shaking in their boots about their victims coming after them.

I predict new commercial children's homes will be set up that specialise in fostering "LGBTQ+ youth." They'll rake in taxpayers' money and close down once they've bankrupted the local councils.

Men who, following a rape conviction, fly into a panic about being "falsely accused" of rape, are in fact panicking about being convicted of rape they committed and evaded justice. So they try to lay their defense preemptivelly by using DARVO - reversing victim and ofender.

I'm quite frankly showing off here, with not just one but two gates. This lovely path leads into the peace of Tideswell Dale, surrounded on all sides by steep limestone cliffs and now full of the most stunning autumnal colours. Who could resist the click and creak at the start of this walk?!

If the # ConversionPracticeDraftBill for England & Wales becomes law a headteacher or designated safeguarding lead could face 5 years in prison for saying ‘no’ to him.
He could claim alarm/distress & report them for an abusive conversion practice.

A transgender sex offender has been arrested in Minnesota after posing as a teen girl to try and enroll at a local high school.
"Makayla" Alec Ray Craig, who identifies as a female cat, had previously been arrested for the same crime in Oregon last year.

She obviously has no idea how grass roots community action works in #sheffield. We got rid of strong leader system in a local referendum and we're not going back to the bad old days of top heavy one party control. This statement makes a mockery of @andyburnham so called devolution

Russell Brand, Jimmy Savile, those men told us exactly who they were while some looked away and pretended they were just lads, or talented, or cute boys. They didn’t hide in plain sight, they operated in plain sight.

Before lighting a bonfire this autumn, please take a moment to look twice and think about what might be hiding inside.
Or better yet—do you really need a bonfire at all?

A Labour MP persuades the Labour Government to ban online strangulation porn, with mass public support and the backing of campaign groups like Amnesty International. Porn campaigners fume.
It's 2006.
It's not clear why the law then was never enforced, whether it was thought to be low status to use laws based on a single murder, or because there was then little chance of international co-operation.
There were only a tiny number of men prosecuted using that law, like the 'client' who was thought to have goaded young Hope Barden to her death over a webcam. Police got him jailed for extreme porn while they built charges for her homicide.
The nightmare scenario that unfolded over the last 20 years was the pushing of strangulation of women, from the preserve of murderous weirdos with a server, to the front page of porn and social media sites. Now it has become normal to be strangled, teens report being choked with a first kiss, young women avoid relationships, and the sexes view each other with suspicion and hostility.
Will this new ban be enforced, 20 years on? Over to government.

But this is fine then. There’s no “coalition” in #Sheffield, nor even any “administration” (joint or otherwise).
Local citizens already took care of this
We forced a committee system. Absolutely no executive power, local power is distributed horizontally across all 84 cllrs

Russell Brand’s lawyers will be rushing to file an appeal, particularly as being convicted of rape is considered 10x worse than any bundle of sexual assaults. It would ordinarily work and his conviction overturned, in normal circumstances, but this rape conviction will now lead to a flood of other charges as more women come forward. So his lawyers will be more concerned with all of that and the tide will turn more greatly against Brand.
Our justice system is crap, you always need multiple rape allegations and dozens of witnesses to get any kind of legal justice for just one of the rapes. But Brand’s sexual violence against women was so prolific, over such an extensive period of time, that the few women brave enough to come forward actually represent many more.
Those women will now post conviction feel more confident to come forward not only to report, but to testify themselves as it’s been proven they are in with a chance of actually getting justice. Though, imagine how the two women Brand raped but was found not guilty for feel today? I think sexual violence victims almost always size up whether going through with a trial will compound the ordeal they’ve already been through (which is a logical calculation and makes sense).
I’m sure Brand had hundreds if not thousands of consensual sexual encounters, but he’s also clearly raped and sexually assaulted dozens of women. The 6 on the Channel 4 documentary were mainly in the United States, if I recall right, so when are the police there going to finally act over there?
MEPs at odds with most Europeans as poll shows huge majority against loosening pesticide rules. And that opposition prevails across the political spectrum. There are also hefty majorities in some countries for phasing out pesticides completely. euobserver.com/247138/meps-a…

My making it clear to my daughter a decade ago that she was not a boy & could never be a boy, & explaining why, was a key part of her desistance. It’s a parent’s duty to keep their kid grounded in reality. To claim that that can’t be done with love, or without damage, is crazy.
Criminalising parents who won't affirm - the first evidence session.
Our panel argued that, despite @bphillipsonMP reassurance that the draft bill will not impinge on decisions about how to parent, it risks criminalising parents who do not affirm a child’s gender identity.
The panel promoting the bill seemed to view a failure to affirm as a “conversion practice” that SHOULD be criminalised.

Young women are faced with an appalling offer: submit to strangulation or be called a prude (or indeed be strangled *and* called 'vanilla' if you protest). There is almost nothing that could do more to poison the relationship between men and women in our society.
That's why the ban must be enforced against the sites that have pushed this already illegal content.
