King Slide, a Taiwanese maker of kitchen drawer slides, owns 70-90% of the market for high-end AI server rails. On Oct 30 it approved more than $600 million for what it plans as the world’s largest rail factory.
If you were building a King Slide competitor, you could buy the steel and the steel balls. You would have to build the molds, the stamping and plating lines and the assembly machines yourself. You would also have to design around its roughly 3,750 patents.
A server rail works like a drawer slide: three steel strips nest on steel balls. The two rails on either side of an AI server are 6.1 mm thick and hold a chassis of more than 40 kg. Each rail has more than 100 parts, and none can be off by more than 0.02 mm. Pulled all the way out, the rail holds the server from one end, and Nvidia’s next racks are heavier while the rails have to get thinner because liquid-cooling pipes take up the space.
Nan Juen, another Taiwanese furniture-slide maker, had made server rails since 2002. When it went after cloud servers in 2012, it found no major customer for six years because the brands had already picked their rail suppliers. It reached Nvidia’s GB200 rack in 2024.
A rail sells for under $100 and protects a rack that costs millions. In the second quarter King Slide’s gross margin was 87.4%. It still sells kitchen drawer slides.

Jesus, I just experienced POLICE BRUTALITY for the very first time and I’m seriously shaking right now, everything happened 30 mins ago, I was driving out when a Corolla with no plate number suddenly double crossed my car and two officers came down corking their guns, the rest (about 3 more) remained in the car. I genuinely thought they were armed robbers and wanted to run but calm myself, when they came close to me, they started shouting at me and asking me what is in my car boot and was genuinely confused and scared because I have watched a lot of @AluyaPov videos and know these people don’t care about human lives, I turn of the engine and open my boot and came down from the car to open the boot, immediately they asked whose car is this, I said mine and they said how could I afford such a car and what do I do for a living? I didn’t answer immediately and asked what caused all this interrogation, immediately they flared up and told me to enter my car back, one of them sat beside me in the front and the others sat at the back and they told me to drive, I said to where, he shouted and said just drive, I started driving and started asking if I’m being arrested or what? He asked for my car documents and started checking it and also said who do I do for a living, I told him I’m into wine business and also said the address of my store and i also said I’m into YouTube Automation, Forex Trading and sometimes collects gigs on my social media platform but he insisted that all that isn’t enough to buy a car and he will show me pepper, so I changed it for them and parked in the middle of the road that I’m not going anywhere again and he said despite that fact he knows I’m legitimate he can still rope me and incriminate me if he wants, that’s when I realized I’m dealing with the devil and I asked him what exactly he wants, he said I must give him 100k or else I won’t like what will happen to me, I pleaded and paid 50k and that’s how they left.
Also I need to add that they told me they are SARS operatives, I thought SARS was disbanded???
I need to leave this country with my family and relocated somewhere else, NIGERIA CAN NEVER BE BETTER.

On Monday, my attention was drawn to a peculiar case where a young man who was arrested in 2024 was remanded and abandoned in Oko Prison, Benin City, since 2024. When I followed up on the case, I found out that the Edo State Ministry of Justice had rendered its legal advice since February 2025, and the young man had NO CASE TO ANSWER.
The said legal advice was not delivered to the Oko Prison in Benin City, and the young man was not released. When the Judge's attention was drawn to this peculiar matter, the Court ordered that the young man be brought to the Court today.
This morning, I appeared for the young man and set out the facts of the case. On that, the Court made an order releasing him unconditionally.
