800 followers today π«Ά. $5K MRR in 7 months.
From starting with 0 followers to building SaaS in public.
Now I'm taking on a new challenge:
β Build my next SaaS
β Launch it in 15 days
β Get it into the hands of real users
β Reach $5K MRR in 7 months
I'll share the entire journey here β the builds, feedback, wins, failures, and everything I learn along the way.
If you're a developer, freelancer, founder, or just interested in building products from scratch, follow along.
This is just the beginning. π
π¨ Okay, this might be my next big tech purchase! π₯³π»
With the MacBook Pro M6 expected to launch tomorrow, Iβm seriously considering upgrading my development setup.
Hereβs the configuration I have in mind:
β 14-inch MacBook Pro
β 32GB RAM
β 1TB SSD
As someone who spends hours building SaaS products, experimenting with AI tools, and coding with Claude Code, I need a machine that can keep up with my workflow.
My typical setup involves:
β‘ Claude Code
π± LLMs
π» Multiple terminals running simultaneously
π 15 regular browser tabs + localhost on incognito
My goal is to build faster, experiment more with AI, and ship better products without worrying about performance.
MacBook developers, would 32GB RAM and 1TB SSD be enough for the next 3β4 years? Or should I consider a different configuration? π
Would love to hear your real-world experience! π
"Is feeling everything so deeply a blessing or a curse?"
I just made a quick video sharing some thoughts on this after watching @dostcast
Would love to know your thoughts on this. β€οΈ
Claude is writing it own code now
Claude writes about 90% of Claude Code's code.
From June to September, merged PRs more than doubled while the share reverted fell by more than 40%.
We wrote about how we changed code review to get there, and how to adopt it:

Not every day goes as planned.
I skipped my run today for 2 reasons:
It was raining outside. π§οΈ
Around 3 AM last night, I had a really bad sneezing episode followed by a headache.
Couldn't get much done after that.
I almost decided not to share this update, but I made a promise to document the journey β not just the wins, but the setbacks too.
Still dealing with the headache. Probably going to take some medicine and get some rest.
Progress isn't always about pushing harder. Sometimes it's about knowing when to recover.
We'll come back stronger tomorrow. β€οΈ
Are MacBooks genuinely better for developers, or has Apple mastered the art of making us pay a premium for looking productive? π
My current AI + builder subscriptions πΈπ
β X Premium β ~$4.42/month π¦
β Codex β $20/month π€
β Domain β ~$2/year π
β Gemini Pro β FREE with my Jio SIM
Total: ~$24.59/month π₯
I'm planning to add Claude to my stack and considering upgrading to X Premium+.
But one question: Does X Premium+ actually help you grow on X, or is regular Premium good enough? π
Builders, founders & creators, I need your honest opinion. π
Why do so many startup founders choose MacBooks over Windows laptops?
Is it the ecosystem, the battery life, the Unix terminal, or just the Apple logo?
Planning to buy your next machine? π»
What would you choose: MacBook π or Windows πͺπ
> MacBook users:
1. Open the lid. Get to work.
2. Battery lasts longer than most relationships
3. Trackpad smoother than your pickup lines
4. UNIX terminal. Developer heaven
5. Premium build. Premium experience
> Windows users:
1. Update available. Restart required
2. Fans sound like a Boeing 747
3. 37 tabs open. RAM has left the chat
4. Blue screen = surprise vacation
5. βNot respondingβ is a personality trait
MacBook: Built for getting things done.
Windows: Built to test your patience. π
Windows fans, your comeback is still installing updatesβ¦
most people quit posting when nobody replies.
most people also canβt build without the usual tools.
so tomorrow:
NO CLAUDE. NO CODEX. NO CURSOR. NOT EVEN ANTIGRAVITY.
you still posting, and what are you opening to build?
Developers,
be real.
80% of the time is
coding validating AI output figuring out what to build marketing
and half of that marketing is posting into nothing.
do you keep the marketing slot anyway, or does it get eaten by the other three?
a) I protect the posting time
b) it always loses
c) only when something is working
d) I outsourced it and regret it
what would you rather have right now?
a) $2k MRR and the 80% still feels chaotic
b) clear product direction but almost no users
c) posts that get replies but the code is messy
d) one week where you only did the thing that moves money
I used to think the hard part was coding.
then it became validating whatever the AI wrote.
then figuring out what was even worth building.
now itβs marketing into silence and posting anyway.
which shift hit you hardest?
a) trusting AI less
b) picking what to build
c) getting anyone to see it
d) still mostly coding
the quiet stretch where posts get nothing.
you keep going because the alternative is zero data.
but most days the actual work is still
coding validating AI output figuring out what to build marketing
how long do you push the marketing part when nobody replies?
a) a few weeks
b) months
c) until one post works
d) I already dropped it
Day 2 of documenting my journey. π
Today's progress:
πββοΈ 2 km run + 4 km walk
π» Completed LeetCode POTD
π§ Solved 2 DSA problems
πΌ Finished my office work
π Learning a new concept
I'm not trying to become successful overnight. I'm trying to become 1% better every single day.
As Albert Einstein said:
"It's not that I'm so smart, it's just that I stay with problems longer."
By the end of today, I'll share what I've learned so we can grow together.
Starting from zero. Working toward $5K MRR. π°
If you're a developer, founder, or builder, let's connect. π€
Where do you want to be 365 days from now? π
