Actually, the evidence overwhelmingly shows that sexual freedom, including the freedom to make and consume porn, is directly tied to healthier communities.
Sexual repression is cultural depression.
to a general point, I actually do think that pornography probably is harmful to some social extent, but for principled reasons (freedom), pragmatic (a view there since at least Aquinas), and British (we know as things are this will be implemented in the most authoritarian way possible), I still am against this

Well for one the problem isn’t “see menance in ordinary male behavior”. The problem is they see menancing behavior and have been trained to view that as ordinary male behavior.
