There is 1 ref based in Merseyside. He's never officiated Liverpool or Everton as he is not allowed.
There are 3 Manc refs. Taylor, Kavanagh & Tierney. They've refereed Utd or City 209 times.
After the Prem look into City they need to look into the PGMOL.

I won 2 Premier League titles with Man City.
I won 1 Premier League title with Liverpool.
Liverpool also finished second to Man City twice while I was a Red.
If those titles are stripped from Man City and given to Liverpool, I’ll have 3 Premier League titles with Liverpool and 0 with Man City.
So even with Man City's cheating, I am still a 3-time Premier League winner.
Result.

If they wanted to be accurate about what Taylor said, and causes of the football related tragedies, they might want to use this.
"the main reason for the disaster was the failure of police control"
The Docherty Effect retweeted
This is low, even by the standards of the UK Football policing unit, casually linking the Taylor report post Hillsborough and football tragedies to changes in the law on drinking at matches
Drinking in view of the pitch didn’t cause deaths or injuries - policing failures did

Wirtz has 18 goal contributions since start of last season.
Foden has 19 & Palmer 18.
Yet Wirtz we are told is biggest flop of all time & needs to go back to Germany.
While Foden is supposedly greatest English talent of a generation & Palmer is like Steven Gerrard.
How does that make sense 🧐

And I, along with so many other fans, was called a disgrace for saying Jota’s passing played a huge part in how our season went last year. We were told to stop making excuses. That we were using his death to defend the coach. Now Robertson is telling us they didn’t care about football. They didn’t want to train. That was the reality.
It wasn’t an excuse. It was a massive human factor that a lot of people were far too quick to dismiss because they were desperate to make everything about the coach. These footballers are not robots. They lost a teammate, a friend and someone they loved. You can criticise the performances, the tactics and the coach while still acknowledging that something extraordinary and deeply traumatic happened to that group of players.
The people who brushed that aside so easily were the ones who should be ashamed.

Some of the responses are elite
🚨 For Liverpool to equal Arsenal’s achievements, They need:
• 6 FA Cup titles
• 2 Community Shield titles
🚨 But For Arsenal to equal Liverpool’s achievements, They need:
• 7 Premier League titles
• 8 League Cup titles
• 6 UEFA Champions League
• 4 UEFA Super Cup titles
• 3 UEFA Cup/Europa League titles
• 1 FIFA Club World Cup title
• The title of England's most successful club in Europe
Any disrespect to Liverpool from Arsenal and their fans will not be tolerated anymore... 🤔

This from a man who awarded the 2018 World Cup to Russia and the 2022 World Cup to Qatar.
Talk about a complete lack of self awareness.
The longest World Cup has come to an end - with the right champions. But on the way to the final whistle, the tournament had lost its credibility. Politics must not be allowed to overshadow the game. Now it is up to the fans, players and national associations to reclaim football and bring it back to its roots under new leadership. #Fifa #worldcup #fifahalftimeshow #donaldtrump #gianniinfantino

🇳🇴🏴 I don't think England understand what's coming on Saturday.
English football is part of Norway's DNA. State TV has shown the English league every Saturday since 1969. Most Norwegians supported an English club before a Norwegian one. No footballing nation outside Britain lives English football the way we do. Beating England means more to us than beating Brazil ever could.
And beyond Haaland and Ødegaard, half our squad play their club football in England. Every one of them is desperate for bragging rights in their own dressing room.
England aren't facing one superstar. They're facing men with a point to prove and a nation that has waited decades for this.
Norway will knock England out of the World Cup on Saturday.

Reminder Cristiano Ronaldo should have missed that match (and Tuesday v Uzbekistan) but FIFA decided to suspend two games of his three-game suspension for violent conduct in Portugal's penultimate World Cup qualifier
DR Congo probably quite grateful in hindsight
Virgil Van Dijk scoring in a World Cup at 34 years of age.
At this stage of their careers:
• Rio Ferdinand was playing at QPR.
• Nemanja Vidic had already retired.
• John Terry was 31 and had already played his last game for England.
Yet Van Dijk is still captaining club and country, competing at the highest level, and delivering on the biggest stage.
Longevity. Consistency. Leadership.
The greatest centre-back of his generation isn't a debate anymore.
It's Virgil Van Dijk 🐐
