Major Cabinet Decisions for a Viksit Bharat! 🇮🇳
The Union Cabinet, led by PM @narendramodi, has approved key initiatives to boost sports goods and container manufacturing, enhance welfare of Central government employees and pensioners, and strengthen grassroots governance.
These decisions will promote self-reliance, employment, economic growth and rural development.

The Union Cabinet, under the leadership of PM @narendramodi, has approved:
✅ The Khelo India Sports Goods Manufacturing Scheme with an outlay of Rs 1,857 crore, to boost domestic sports equipment production, increase exports, generate employment and reduce import dependence.
✅ A 3% hike in Dearness Allowance and Dearness Relief, benefiting over 1.17 crore Central government employees & pensioners.
✅ The Container Manufacturing Promotion Scheme with an outlay of Rs 10,000 crore, to expand domestic container manufacturing capacity nearly tenfold, boosting local production and reducing dependence on imports.
✅ The Pradhan Mantri Viksit Gram Swaraj Yojana with an outlay of Rs 7,395.55 crore to strengthen grassroots governance and enable more effective rural development planning.
