I’m done. Going to try Bluer pastures. Same handle.
This used to be a fun place to hang out! But my feed has become a cesspool of racists and shills spewing lies, broken up by cheap scammy ads.
Can no longer reconcile my morals and patriotism with giving X more eyeballs. ✌️🫥
I think I gotta leave this place. Top of my feed has become a cesspool of racists and shills spewing lies, broken up by occasional ads that better belong on QVC at 3am. Not sure where to go next yet, but this place isn’t fun anymore, it’s just toxic.

Wrote a column about my very serious concern that the robot in Astro Bot isn’t attractive enough for people to enjoy thegamer.com/astro-bot-robot…

who would have fucking guessed
The secrets behind Astro Bot's success include a small team, a reasonable scope, and people who have worked together for years. It's a model for the video game industry.
For this week's column, I spoke to the director of 2024's best-reviewed game: bloomberg.com/news/newslette…
It sucks being an NPC in a national election.
Feels like someone could make a temporary alliance of hard-blue and hard-red states, all of which currently ignored, to finally kill Electoral College.
Bro is posting through it in ways not previously thought possible by experts.

Replying to @JoshEakle
In light of the recent allegations, it is important to note that our adversaries do not need to have a specific winner even if they might prefer one or another. They likely fund multiple sides of any argument that most effectively turns us against each other. They benefit from chaos no matter who wins an election.
Absolutely only the tip of the iceberg. Just the obvious/sloppy illegal stuff that US govt can catch and prosecute. It’s an asymmetric war that liberal democracies are losing.

I want you to honestly stop and imagine a 17 minute standing ovation. Get a clock. Time it out. People around you are clapping. Then they just keep clapping. Everyone is afraid to be the first to stop clapping. So you clap. And clap. You are in hell.
Pedro Almodovar and his new muses Julianne Moore and Tilda Swinton land an unbelievable 17-minute standing ovation at #Venezia81 for ‘The Room Next Door,’ the longest stretch of clapping I’ve ever seen at this festival.

Extreme shame about Concord and I just want to say that you can have a world class team, clever and unique gameplay, super appealing art and characters, highly optimized performance, cross play, and a pandemic causing players to be home all the time and still face challenges.
Dismiss it as a lame joke now, but his long term intent is the destruction of any remaining shared truth. Why staple a fake photo generator onto a social media site? Doesn’t matter whether the disinfo is from left/right. The goal is to make nothing believable. No more facts.

The most important thing that leaders can do to hold onto Founder Mode is constantly and aggressively redirecting the culture to remain outcome/results oriented.
In larger organizations there are often unspoken/hidden incentives or organizational structures that drive bad behavior like rewarding teams based on larger head counts or allowing goals that are outputs instead of outcomes (ship in q4 vs. increase revenue). It is easy to incentivize teams or individuals this way but it is an absolutely terrible habit to allow in your culture.
Maintaining high standards within an outcome oriented culture is tremendously hard but also tremendously powerful.

Did I mention you can create storms and twisters by doing loops with your Spear Engine
Kinda weird to loudly defend someone who actively promotes right wing disinformation while being silent about them censoring left wing discourse, Tim.
Are your principles consistent?
