Since I mentioned Riz (@Empire_Names) recently, I went back and listened to his interviews with @alvinbrown.
This one inspired me to sell a few names at wholesale today. Riz was brilliant; so much to glean from him.

I'm way behind the curve on .si, but since I bought a few & sold them for $ xxx (each), I am in the +++.
Here are a few that I hand regged today.
iolo.si
Nicci.si
5GWireless.si
6GWireless.si
Total = Bought 8, sold 2.
Well, that’s definitely a weird twist to a football game… 🤷🏽♂️
Proofread anyone?
I have never been a big fan of .net Domains although I ended up with a couple that I thought were pretty solid.
I would have to check my records, but this may be the first one I’ve ever sold.
Is anyone else still selling those names they picked up on Clubhouse back in the day? I just sold one today.
This is the perfect example of why .ai won’t be replaced by .si.
Both terms can coexist because they have different meanings. AI is not SI. Stop trying to make one replace the other.

Is AI helping you analyze domains?
My AI Assistant:
PASS, unless you can validate the buyer pool.
If it's available as a hand reg, the downside is small in absolute dollars; your real constraint is tying up capital and attention in a domain that may sit for years.
Interesting privacy issue with .si domains.
I sold a .si domain and then I got the transfer confirmation email from the registry. It had the buyers info including their name, address, and email address.
Nice to see @DomainNameWire cover this as well.

It’s “Shill your .si Saturday”
What .si name are you selling at wholesale?
Here is mine… MMJ.si

𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗜, was already on the horizon, with or without Trump’s announcement.
It has been part of the 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝘂𝗺 for decades.
The word itself goes back even further. The 𝗢𝘅𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗗𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆 traces its earliest known use to the 𝟭𝟴𝟮𝟬𝘀, long before modern computers.
In 𝟭𝟵𝟲𝟱, 𝗜. 𝗝. 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱 laid out a foundational argument for 𝗺𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: an “ultraintelligent machine” could surpass human intellect and design even better machines, triggering an 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 that would leave human intelligence far behind.
In 𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟰, Oxford philosopher 𝗡𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗕𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗺 published Superintelligence: Paths, Dangers, Strategies, helping popularize the modern term. He defined it as an intellect that greatly exceeds human cognitive performance in 𝘃𝗶𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗱𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁.
Today, we are in the 𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗜 𝗽𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲, with 𝗺𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶-𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀 already coordinating and carrying out complex tasks. 𝗔𝗚𝗜, or general intelligence, represents the next major capability milestone.
It seems inevitable that 𝗔𝗦𝗜, 𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝗦𝗜, will follow. The timeline is uncertain, but the idea, concept, and pursuit have been around for a long time.

Beware of privacy issue when buying/selling a .si domain name - domainnamewire.com/2026/10/0…
💯
Your reputation in the domain industry isn't built only by what you say.
It's also built by what you choose NOT to say.
After almost 2 years in customer support, I've learned that sometimes silence is more valuable than speaking your mind.
Over the past few days, I've been tempted to publicly criticize a few things I've seen in the domaining space.
But then I asked myself: Who am I to judge how others choose to use their online reputation?
Not every opinion needs an audience. Not every disagreement needs a post.
Do you agree?
Someone needs to hear this today…
Take that offer! You will never pay your bills with “potential sales”.
(Maybe that someone is me?) #WaitingForACounterOffer 🤣
From my AI Research Assistant Just Now:
"One thing I especially want to reinforce: passing on a domain is a successful investment decision when the evidence doesn't justify buying it. You don't have to find a reason to buy every interesting name that crosses your desk."
Let's not forget, when the .si boom hit, @Dynadot was the first to step up. Bashing them over registry errors from an unexpected mass load isn't fair. Transferring is your right & the alternatives are great too, but Dynadot remains a solid, vital part of the domain industry. 🤝

We just released a new solution for accurate availability results for .si domain searches. Let me know how it goes. 🤞

Bear case for .si:
1. AI has all the brand recognition. Companies have spent years building around the term. Replacing it with SI would require a much broader cultural shift.
2. Trump's terminology mandate applies to the federal executive branch. It doesn't compel companies to adopt the term (and many wont)
3. Registrations aren't end-user demand. A speculative buying frenzy can happen without meaningful startup adoption.
4. Political terminology can be temporary. A future administration could reverse the directive, and the underlying technology sector might continue using AI regardless.
