Unfortunately, with this cinematic I'm left incredibly disappointed in the story direction for this year of talon. Vendetta is a waste of a character, acting as a mere footnote for doomfist relearning his ideology, add that to many season related problems and I'm overall upset.

i don't think overwatch's writing is misogynistic and for the most part is equally empowering for characters of all genders. but i have noticed men get rehabilitation, redemption, and salvation from their dark pasts. a lot of the women aren't allowed the same growth

vendettas character is so upsetting because there's no justice to her character. She, ALONE, is being ganged up on by the narrative because the writers decided they needed to move on from her. She had maybe 4 months before they started alluding to her failure

her herself, her chances of having the love and safety that were ripped from her when her father died back again? The entire ‘la lupa’ wolf symbolism could be pushed so much more, when wolves are pack animals and vendetta is someone who lost hers, and is scrambling to re-find it
