A lot of people reach out to me about paper, like a shit ton. reason why most teams still use other tools is because of reusable components / design system.
I know paper is working on this, round-trip to code requires this. saves a lot of time. So give it a couple of weeks or days 🌚
Getting super close on components! It’s a huge system to build. We want to make sure to get the design right so we don’t end up with the same issues that other design tools have, where it’s creating two worlds between the codebase and the canvas.
Paper’s components will be React in and React out, so you can stay in sync without translation (and they can even run their code logic)
specifically though the format is functions that return jsx
