Grateful for the @USChamber and the work they do to support Free Enterprise and small business in the USA!
Free Enterprise

Great businesses start with an idea. #FreeEnterprise gives entrepreneurs the opportunity to build on it. @RodneyDavis and the U.S. Chamber team visited @TiestaTea to see how two college friends turned an idea sparked abroad into a growing U.S. Business.

We're proud of all the companies founded by members of the #ILLINOIS family. 🔸🔹 Chicagoland Illini, you might find these on a billboard near you over the next few months. 👀
an orange billboard graphic that has text that reads "Big things start here." with an arrow pointing to an Illinois logo. The graphic also has several business logos.

Time for a cup of tea? How about four? Drinking at least four cups of black, green or oolong tea may reduce the risks of developing type 2 diabetes, researchers in China have found. bit.ly/3LCtAIj

On Friday, we held our 7th annual Spread the Warmth. 🔥 We made and distributed 1,000 warmth kits... that is 250 more kits than the year prior! 😊 We are so excited to see this event grow in its impact from year to year! Thank you to everyone who was able to donate and help!❤️

#CBSNashvilleNYE is the easy winner this year. Tons of live music, few commercials and no drunk NYE hosts talking about nonsense, nice work @CBS

Jason Benetti became the White Sox play-by-play broadcaster in 2019. "I assumed Jason was deeply tired of being held up as an Inspirational Story. He is — sort of. And yet his disability is a significant part of what drives him," says writer Peter Sagal. chicagomag.com/chicago-magaz…

The Storyteller of the White Sox

If you follow the Sox, you likely know broadcaster Jason Benetti was born with cerebral palsy. But that’s just the start of his story.

Watching Giolito’s no-no reminds me of the single greatest event I covered in Chicago: Buehrle’s perfect game. That Wise catch remains one of the best plays I’ve ever seen in the moment. The Cell froze when Kapler crushed the ball — and then exploded when Wise came down with it.
