I really like the new Taylor Swift song about job market papers.. “talk your talk… get it off your chest, get it off my desk”..
Today's UK news suggest that having a model of fiscal policy in which tax announcements may differ from realized policy could be quite useful... :) @alexclymo @forket86

Who are the winners and losers from inflation?
This may seem a well-established issue in Economics, but surprisingly, there is still some confusion among pundits, central bankers, and academics. A short-🧵that I hope clarifies certain issues

After seeing each other a lot through webcams for the last couple of years it’s so great to spend a day together!! @a_gavazza thanks for the visit!
Nice indeed. I had almost forgot the good part of traveling to conferences… Thanks for the fun Chicago night! @forket86
I just finished this book by @kph3k . I really enjoyed it and learned from it, both as an economist and as a daddy. It convinced me that it is hard to think about inequality abstracting from genetics.
This week, we agreed our ninth translation license for @kph3k’s The Genetic Lottery with a Turkish deal with Minotor Kitap! We’re excited to see this book travel the world in #translation! #sellingrights

For no specific reason, I didn’t read books in Italian for years. In August, while in Italy, I started L’amica geniale (Neapolitan novels). Just finished the last volume. I hadn’t felt this great excitement for books since I was a teenager!
