⚡️LATEST: #Somalia’s federal government on Monday launched its Multisectoral Nutrition Strategy 2026, a national framework designed to coordinate efforts to prevent and treat malnutrition across health, food security, water and sanitation, social protection and climate-related responses. The strategy, launched by the Prime Minister’s Office and the Scaling Up Nutrition movement with U.N., WHO and FAO representatives, comes as IPC estimates that about 1.88 million children in Somalia will need treatment for acute malnutrition in 2026.
