This is going to end soooo badly.
BREAKING: California voters just passed Prop 37. Buyers of newly built homes can now put down 3% instead of 20%. How: the state lends you the other 17% as a second mortgage, funded by up to $25 billion in bonds. On an $800,000 home that's $24,000 down instead of $160,000.

Just over a year ago Coinbase bought Echo for $375 million and literally never did anything with it other than farm some clout from its CT famous founder. Meanwhile $COIN down over 60% in the same period of time and the CEO or any other exec or board hasn't bought a single share.

A glimpse into the future. After a Dem victory in midterms, 2027 will bring zero progress on anything impactful for the American people, just grandstanding, impeachments and blockade votes. As a result, 2028 will be very messy and the populist uprising will be even louder as people will just be sick and tired of politicians. It will be the first presidential election where boomers no longer control voting power - strap in. You think Mamdani is crazy...that's just the appetizer.
News: House Dems are likely to force a vote WEDNESDAY on overturning President Trump's Canada tariffs, per sources familiar w/ the effort Dems’ plans aren’t yet final. But the Canada resolution is expected to be the first Dems call up now that Speaker Johnson’s blockade on tariff votes is over The resolution is from HFAC top Dem Meeks - and he’s got more that can be called up in the coming weeks too

"From a global allocation perspective, actually, it’s quite terrible to have everyone have a bunch of the world’s limited supply of DRAM sitting in their own computer." Might actually be one of the most evil quotes we've ever heard. Like actually bone-chillingly evil.
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman believes people owning RAM is wasteful, and that it belongs in data centers instead. "From a global allocation perspective, actually, it’s quite terrible to have everyone have a bunch of the world’s limited supply of DRAM sitting in their own computer."

Pierre hits the nail on the head. The @binance exploit isn’t a matter of funds lost…it’s a matter of lost trust in crypto overall. That erosion of trust will echo for months as people yank liquidity from the markets. I’ll be watching the Stablecoin market cap for this personally.
Prediction market on how much leaves Binance the moment withdrawals open ?

Meme boys are going to take their gains over to perps at some point in this cycle, and they are going to try to play our game. That's when we take it. All.
I tried trading perps today and I got instantly liquidated for $10,000.

I’m glad a lot of the onchain stuff washed out. Some of the dumbest people were starting to become too popular and their trading wisdom should not be on anyone’s timeline.

The plan? Release the Anthropic S1 and have everyone put it into Claude to summarize and generate charts from it to increase token spend leading to higher ARR, thereby improving the financial data

The long-term oil chart is absolutely fascinating when considered alongside the fact that the world is 1) draining inventories at a record pace and 2) actively blowing up production capacity on a daily basis.
Every barrel the U.S. has in storage, SPR included, now covers 70.9 days of demand. April 2020: 139 days October 2000, pre-shale: 76 days Now: 70.9 days The thinnest cushion since January 2001. We became the world's biggest oil producer and still have less cover than Y2K.
