Think about that. Someone preparing for a profession built around caring for human beings could speak about half the population as though women were nothing more than objects for sexual consumption.
And if that doesn’t demonstrate how deeply misogyny can become embedded in society, I genuinely don’t know what will.
Violence against women doesn’t exist in isolation. It’s connected to the attitudes, entitlement, and dehumanization that society repeatedly allows to go unchecked.
