We appreciate your support for the inclusion of universal school meals in this year’s budget! Children learn best when they’re fed.
We also appreciate your support for the foundation aid adjustments NYSUT is calling for as a package.
Finally we really appreciate your support for a $1000 educator tax credit to offset educator expenses used to address student needs.
It’s disappointing that we couldn’t have you support the 0.5% increase on some of the wealthiest New Yorkers making more than $5 million and $25 million respectively that would increase tax revenues to the tune of $1 billion dollars.
