It’s a great feeling to be able to say that the faith I had in taking this job has been backed by that of the wider Columbus community. This is a publication that only exists because your actions have shown that you believe it is one worth supporting.

All of this happening in the well of a black church while barbs of Islamophobia and antisemitism are tossed about, and ppl online who haven’t hosted a single fundraiser, made a single call, or knocked a single door, pontificate, illustrate the true erosion of American discourse and politics.

I want to thank Haley Stevens for so succinctly destroying every centrist talking point that's been rammed down our throats for the last 6 months.
Insane lol

Axios: Republicans in Florida worry that racism could hurt Byron Donalds
“We're about to run the biggest experiment to see how racist some of our voters are,” a longtime Republican consultant said, calling the counties Donalds lost “more culturally Confederate” than the rest of Florida.

When the insurgent left started breaking onto the national stage, I kept wondering what Obama was thinking, and whether he would sit it out, actively undermine it, or use the permission structure the movement created to embrace it and rehabilitate his legacy.
I'm so happy he chose the last option. His entire speech for Abdul was a wonderful summation of what left-populist candidates have spent the last year saying on their own, and getting mercilessly chastised for by the Dem establishment. But now, with it coming from the party’s most respected voice, it feels kinda like watching your bullies get a swirly and I love it.

YOU'RE NOT PAYING TAXES FOR THE PROPERTY, YOU'RE PAYING YOUR TOWN FOR THE SERVICES IT PROVIDES. THE ROADS, POLICE, SCHOOLS, FIRE DEPARTMENT, LIBRARY, SNOW PLOWS, EMERGENCY SERVICES AND SO MUCH MORE.
“I’m old. I’ve paid my home off,” said Ray Warner, a 72-year-old Akron resident. “Why would I pay property tax?”
Across the country, homeowners are asking the same question and revolting against property taxes at a scale not seen in a half century.

If this was a scene in an Aaron Sorkin show I’d be sitting there rolling my eyes thinking it is too perfect and undernuanced to represent any form of realistic exchange… it’s compelling stuff.

You won’t ever see another AOC slander from this account going forward. This is amazing.

Was just thinking how the media questioned Kamala Harris's qualifications for POTUS even though she'd spent 7 yrs as a District Attorney, 6 yrs as CA AG + 4 yrs as a US Senator b4 becoming VP while no one asks JD Vance whose only time in govt was 2 yrs as a Senator that question
Watters on Peltola: You've heard those words said at FOX. Who cares? It actually makes people like her more. People are sleeping with interns, their insider trading, they're taking bribes and not showing up to work and people are upset that she said a bad word? It's disloyal to drop a dime on your boss when the senate power is hanging in the balance.
