i was honestly really disappointed by this because i find the idea of a fully animated/fleshed out show with the basis of those cringey old wolf series to be so cool, it’d be like seeing what every teen imagines in their head becoming a reality. but it was just a joke instead

lets try this again i am Sad because i got my hopes up thinking an animator i admire was making a legitimate sparkly wolf story with their professional skills and professional voice actors and got april fools'ed in september. nothin wrong with the joke but i didn't expect it😔
I think it wouldve worked better if they didnt make the art look bad on purpose and instead just draw at their best, like the artists who made the original series wouldve done
I just think it’s missed potential, i thought the teaser looked really interesting and unique. imagine if it started off mimicking these classic tropes then subverted itself in some way, making something new and exciting instead of a recycled joke. Wouldve been great

I think this is a very clear example of video game music having a genre or at least a regional style. This type of arpeggiated synth is very distinct to European games and popular in demoscene and old hacker/cracker groups.
