i was honestly really disappointed by this because i find the idea of a fully animated/fleshed out show with the basis of those cringey old wolf series to be so cool, it’d be like seeing what every teen imagines in their head becoming a reality. but it was just a joke instead

lets try this again i am Sad because i got my hopes up thinking an animator i admire was making a legitimate sparkly wolf story with their professional skills and professional voice actors and got april fools'ed in september. nothin wrong with the joke but i didn't expect it😔

I think this is a very clear example of video game music having a genre or at least a regional style. This type of arpeggiated synth is very distinct to European games and popular in demoscene and old hacker/cracker groups.

Couple more fakemon ideas, this time evolutions for existing pokemon
A more benevolent split evolution for Inkay, and a Flamigo evolution themed after a cartoon fight cloud

“What program did you use to justify the text?”
“None. I just chose words carefully so that everything lined up on the right hand side. Everything was done with an ASCII editor.”
In the late 90s, the author rs1n wrote a 17,000 word guide for Super Metroid and chose all the right words so the right edge lined up perfectly.

A 1993 Kellogg's Apple Jacks promotion for Super Mario Land 2 contained a score sheet for the game, to "keep track of points". Somehow they missed the fact that the game does not have a score system, rendering the sheet profoundly absurd and, fittingly, completely pointless.

Did you know that season 1 of TAWoG has 2 art styles? thishasdrivenmeinsaneforoveradecade
When people call for a return of the ‘season 1 style’ they’re usually talking about 7 episodes of the whole show
Also S1 is different than S2+ cause they switched studios :3
