In a field of 155, he placed 15th. Top 10%.
Is he setting the world on fire? No.
But his time today would not have even qualified him for state in boys. Top boys in the state run mid 14, low 15 minutes. He ran 18:53.
And he took a spot from a girl.
The results only prove that he's a less than mediocre male athlete.

Believe me, this is the normal everyday reality for the majority of Afghan women in this Muslim society. Almost every woman experiences this kind of treatment from her Muslim husband.
Their children are sitting right there, witnessing this abuse. They grow up learning that this behavior is normal, and they will repeat the same behavior when they become adults.
