People who never heard of Dunning-Kruger by default don’t think it’s real. And people who are familiar with the latest psychology research also know it’s not real. But there’s an intermediate level of understanding where people have heard of Dunning-Kruger and believe in it.

The majority of these people are teenage children that are being exploited by freelance cartoonists on the internet into spending large amounts of their parents money on custom cartoons. They are an exploited and manipulated class that has been deliberately trained to be hateful in order to aid the extraction of money out of them.

Getting real frustrated with people saying "generative AI" to me, that's the biggest red flag of anti-AI psychosis and a lack of education. I understand they mean 2022 stable diffusion, but the world has moved on from that and I'm tired of people living under rocks who think they're authorative on the matter. It's getting tiring. particularly because most of these people seem to be kids. like actual kids.

i do wonder how instructive chess community is wrt "suddenly a computer is better than you in every way" like chess is more popular in 21st century than ever before, in large part due to engines allowing ppl to get their feet wet without paying $$$ for tutors and books and such.
