Grok Bot’s usage cut has a lot of people frustrated, including me. I’m dropping to the base tier, and here’s how I’m moving my bot operations over to Claude without starting from scratch:
1. Ask each Grok Bot to write down its purpose and tasks.
2. Take that to Claude and have it recreate each one, as a project with standing instructions or a scheduled task.
3. Keep anything that changes or buys something behind your approval.
Same jobs, different engine. I’ll report what breaks.
Are you frustrated too? What are you doing about it?
Due to the ridiculous massive drop in Grok Bot's usage allowance, I'm going to drop my Super plan to the base tier and go back to Claude for most of my work. 👀
I can use what I learned from Grok Bot to replicate functions in Claude.
Is anyone else doing similar?
I'm sure I'll bounce back to Grok Bot when they become more stable.

🚨 Grok Bot users on $200 Ultra are getting squeezed twice this week.
First the weekly pool. One user went to bed at 28% and woke up near 60%.
Now users are reporting their Bots refuse local Claude Code and Codex, push them to Cursor Cloud, and some hit a demand for credits.
So you burn the pool. Then you pay again to code.
Who thought this was a good move?
Claude Code and Codex win either way. People will just run them without the Bot.
Let our Bots use the tools we already pay for. And show us what's burning the pool.
It's time Grok Bot users get heard.

As a huge fan of Grok Bot, today the bots are useless.
Grokbot is working like shit - literally.
The CEO doesn’t give orders to other bots (despite clear info that he should only instruct others), he does everything himself, taking 5 times longer and asking questions he already knows the answers to.
Not a single task was finished properly.
A simple “check hub” took 5 minutes instead of 15 seconds.
WTF?
Dots and Opus on High are faster than Grok.
I have a weird feeling that Grok 4.8 is being tested, and it’s really bad.

I am usually not one to complain
But the Grok Bot usage situation is bad
I used all of my usage for the week in less than 24 hours
And then I spent an additional $50 to try to finish and ship a new version of my personal app
$50 gone… poof… and the work didn’t even get finished
It’s been the perfect storm of a usage nerf and a significant capability drop
@Bot team please help us
