Sarah Kendzior captures the moment perfectly as always: she’s from Missouri the Show Me state, the people spoke, now they have to show us.
New article! My thoughts on the midterms -- ordinary American resilience, corrupt Vichy Dems, and GOP officials who refuse to respect the will of the voters.
If you like it, please share! Thanks sarahkendzior.substack.com/p…

Are you sorry for being Muslim?
Can you show remorse for being Muslim please?
Why are you Muslim?
Have you considered you are scaring me by being Muslim?

Just like clockwork. The corporations that we VOTED to block from buying off politicians are suing to make sure...they can keep buying off politicians.

THIS!!
Really, @SenatorCollins is just pissed that voters in Maine finally caught on to her scam.
She voted against Trump when her vote didn't matter — like on impeachment conviction, where there weren't the votes anyway, or to protest Trump's Iran war, because that vote was literally meaningless. But whenever her vote actually could make a difference — when she had a chance to stop Brett Kavanaugh, when she had a chance to block the Big Beautiful Bill, whenever she's ACTUALLY the deciding vote for the Republican agenda — Trump could always, always, always count on her to say yes.
Troy Jackson repeatedly made this point against her on the campaign trail. And she never had any rebuttal to it. Because it's true.

They will keep asking this question because at the end of the day it is not about “Jewish safety” and they know it. This is literally about the fact that people are condemning Israel and demanding an arms embargo and ending the genocide. The coddling needs to stop.
MSNOW: What is your message now to Jewish voters nationally and what you will do to protect them?
Abdul El-Sayed: I’m committed to Jewish safety, and we are united against discrimination. The U.S. spends billions to carry out genocide and apartheid against Palestinians. The genocide in Gaza with our complicity is continuing right now. Nobody wants to talk about that.

Guys, guys, I just called my Dem Congressman's office to tell him I don't want Jeffries as speaker and before I was even done with my preamble, the staffer said, let me guess what you're going to say...he said he's been hearing it all day and then he asked me what I'd like to see Democrats do and had a 10 minute conversation with me. He even asked me to repeat some items from my laundry list so he could write it down.
I also called my Senator. Who has also been getting calls about new leadership.

Save the sanctimony, Megyn. You’ve spent the past decade bowing to Trump and feeding MAGA’s bloodlust for clicks, so you don’t get to suddenly preach about having a moral compass now that the “brand” is finally bankrupt. You literally helped build the machine, so stop acting like an innocent bystander who just stumbled into the rubble. You, Trump, and everyone tied to him can ride out — preferably on a rusty cheese grater. 🙃
.@MegynKelly on the blue tsunami that occurred last night - and the message from MAGA voters: “The Republican Party is in RUINS… and maybe it needed to be.”

Wow. This is amazing!
The incoming House Oversight Committee chairman @RobertGarcia just outlined the four main investigations that Democrats will be opening when they take back the house in January.
It’s about time!!

When we return next week, we’ll get 218 signatures for Epstein Files Transparency Act II, which guarantees a vote.
Survivors will be able to get their own records, State Attorneys General can prosecute crimes, and we can take the DOJ to court for keeping critical files hidden.⚖️

Hard to watch Americans elect authentic, uncompromised, charismatic younger Dems all over the country… and then have @SenSchumer & @RepJeffries immediately step out as the front men — who are really none of those things.

Jeffries and Schumer bear responsibility for the astonishing passivity of Congressional Democrats in the last two years. They could have organized local and state resistance efforts to rescue programs killed by DOGE and Trump, to keep scientific research alive, to organize universities, law firms, media, and corporations to resist Trump's intimidation. They could have held press conferences and posted videos every single day to call out Trump's corruption and present an alternative vision for the country. Chris Murphy did it, others did it.
But not the leaders.
We will have no presidential candidate for 18 months. The task of presenting a vision that will lead America back from the darkness will fall to these two men. I wish I felt more confident they are up to the task.

I have an idea. Why don’t you consult with all the senators, including the new ones. You’re acting like a dictator. It’s not your call.

“I am tremendously grateful for Chuck Schumer’s leadership … and I think it is time for new leadership,”

ALT Screenshot of text from Minnesota Reformer: "I am tremendously grateful for Chuck Schumer's leadership ... and I think it is time for new leadership," Flanagan said, repeating a campaign promise to support an alternative.
