gorgeous gorgeous girls read romance books to fill the void that those romance books created in the first place due to their unrealistic expectations

it’s not disgusting for feyre to talk about breastfeeding and the changes her body went through after becoming a mother. like i don’t know what's your fucking problem, but you’d have to be a pure misogynist to find that disgusting👍🏼

take me back to the internet in 2016/2017 when acomaf and acowar were out and everyone loved feyre and rhys, hated tamlin, lucien was irrelevant, and gwyn didn’t exist

This is supposed to be a series that centers women’s autonomy and empowerment. So how are we collectively okay with dragging a woman who hasn’t even been allowed to speak for herself yet?

I'm stepping away because I'm genuinely disgusted with some of the takes I've read recently.
My take: What the fandom is doing to Elain right now is genuinely pissing me off.
We have not gotten a single chapter in her head.
That’s another thing I wanted to mention - people always comparing Elriel to other ships but what if sjm is and wants to do something *DIFFERENT* her old canon does not automatically mean that her new story will follow it to a tea.
- a story like she's never written before
- part one of one long story
- characters with complex journeys
- sweeping and exciting
Oh Elriel, you're so underestimated 🩷 can't wait for January ♡

Yes. Shattering the IC and ruining alliances just to end up not being together in the end? Wild. This is just setting up the conflict/seaparate the characters so both Elain and Az can have their personal growth arcs before reuniting.

its almost like feysand and nesta weren't also in a very bad place mentally before they got together and their books were literally all about healing, learning their powers and finding their place while falling in love......oh wait!

some people are being gaslighted, please snap out of it. elriel is already happening and will continue to happen in the next movements. sjm won't write all that down just to make them end up with other male/female.
it seems fast-paced, yes, but it was because there is A LOT of events that are yet to happen. always remember that elriel has been under development since ACOMAF. if SJM would scrap them, she should've done that sooner. ACOSH is just part 1, we're not meant to see the conclusion of everything in this book.
Also, do not let those negative contents get into your heads, you're supposed to enjoy the book and not stress yourselves out. hehe that's all 💋💕
Also, yes its surprising the way Nesta reacted to Elain but I also think there's still a bit of resentment there from ACOSF that has not been resolved. The final scene in ACOSH between the sisters felt very similar to that scene in ACOSF where Elain says --
And to add to this, you cannot say Elriel is dead while in the same breath tell me that Gwynriel is alive when both Gwyn and Az both view themselves so negatively (monsters + that dark imagery). Isn't that then just as "toxic" as the Elriel dynamic that you're shitting on?
Yes there defo needs to be healing on both sides with Elain and Azriel, but this doesn't mean they can't be endgame. We had the same dynamic with Rhys + Feyre, Nesta + Cassian, Aelin + Rowan, Chaol + Yrene like two things can be true at the same time guys
-- expected. This is not targeted at anyone btw, this goes for all elriels, gwynriels, and eluciens. Like we all just built it up in a specific way in our heads, whether consciously or not and the reality might not have matched with those expectations 100% which can be --
