Waiver Wire Angle: Week 8
I’m out on a work trip this week, so my guy @fantasyinstall stepped in and took over the Waiver Wire Angle for me.
A few of the names and situations inside:
Jonah Coleman leads the priority claims with legitimate league-winning upside
Rachaad White and Antonio Williams should both see major usage bumps in Washington
Caleb Douglas is back and immediately reminded everyone of his ceiling
Travis Hunter is one of the most
interesting stashes on the board
Seth McGowan could become very relevant depending on what happens with Jonathan Taylor
Also, Dylan Sampson, Makai Lemon, Mason Taylor and more. Plus QB streamers for 1QB and Superflex leagues. You’ll also find FAAB ranges, deeper stashes and the players who may be sitting on waivers that should take priority over this week’s new names.
Full Week 8 Waiver Wire Angle is live now on AngleRanks.

List of backup QBs that are available in a lot of deep SF dynasty leagues. If you’re contending, you should consider targeting your starters backup QBs on waivers. If rebuilding, some of these guys are even good to stash.
Kyle McCord - dolphins
Stetson Bennett - rams
Kyle Allen - bills
Tommy Cutlets (devito) - patriots
Mason Rudolph - steelers
Davis Mills - texans
Mitchell Trubisky - titans
Trey Lance - chargers
Sam Howell - cowboys
Joshua Dobbs - lions
Tyrod Taylor - packers
Carson Wentz - vikings
Kenny Pickett - panthers
Spencer Rattler - saints
Gardner Minshew (I’d be worried he’s replaced by Beck tho so maybe not him) - cardinals
Week 8 Fantasy Football Action Board 🏈
Moves & Vibes for all 32 Teams 👇
ARI: McBride the only startable asset. Love’s injury doesn’t feel stable & Michael Wilson’s ceiling feels gone.
ATL: London TD! Scrappy team playing very well. Penix & Pitts starts at TB.
BAL: A story of two halves. Buying Henry. Continuing to stash Lane. Lamar back will wake this offense up.
BUF: Buy Kincaid & DJ Moore. BAL at BUF should bring fireworks.
CAR: Bucs came to play. Tough matchup at GB, but starting the Big 4.
CHI: The Caleb, Luther, Colston trio has arrived.
CIN: Second half glow up. At home vs Titans… if this isn’t the Chase Brown game I’ll pack my things and leave.
CLE: KC’s turn. Judkins/Sampson back & serviceable. Fun matchup with PIT.
DAL: Javonte running hard, Flournoy ready to Flourish. Pickens volatile, but always starting.
DEN: Jonah Coleman the only player I have interest in. (BUMP) Priority Claim number 1.
DET: Lions O v Vikings D. Phew. Start ‘em up.
GB: TNF at Lambeau. Jacobs Top-12 ROS. Start the pass catchers.
HOU (BYE): Disappointing game for fantasy options. To the BYE week. With the Noel injury, I’ll stash Tank Dell.
IND: Add Seth McGowan. Of all the vets rumored to be moved, JT feels most likely.
JAX: Parker, Tuten, TLaw every week starts. Add Travis Hunter.
KC: Mahomes/Walker will be fine. WR help incoming with Rashee or a trade.
LV: Hello, Tre Tucker - FLEX worthy. Michael Mayer may be a nice option for desperate TE managers. Jeanty at Jets, starting.
LAC: Show me something.
LAR: Kyren/Corum duo will be busy. TE carousel will be annoying, still stashing Terrance Ferguson.
MIA: Ollie has been so impressive. Priority Claim Caleb Douglas.
MIN: Need to see more from the offense.. Indy was the explosion matchup. Semi-worried.
NE: AJ Brown panic? I remember when we were panicked on Drake Maye. Have to hold and will buy low on contenders.
NO (BYE): Make sure Tyson is stashed. Dropping Juwan.
NYG (BYE): THE craziest storyline of the season thus far. 18 leading the 1st place NYG.
NYJ: Buying high on Braelon in dynasty (bump). Garrett Wilson buy. Priority Claim Omar Cooper Jr. (Bump again).
PHI: Makai Lemon breakout. Stinky team.
PIT: Jaylen Warren DAWG.
SF (BYE): Kaelon Black should be stashed. Need Evans and CMC healthy shortly after BYE. Buying Purdy if there’s a window.
SEA: Make sure Charbs is stashed. JSN GOAT.
TB: Buying Baker (cheap-ish). Selling Egbuka in dynasty. BUCKY BELLCOW.
TEN: Carnell Tate rollercoaster. Cam Ward stinks. Pollard a serviceable RB2.
WSH: Rachaad will be a PPR FLEX. Priority Claim Antonio Williams. Chig & Diggs bump. 📈
