part of what I find so horrible about modern relationships is the social expectation to emotionally cauterize oneself afterwards. if you still harbor any tender feelings towards the person who once knew you best in the world, it taken as a sign that you aren't "over it" yet.
t lets me lift heavier and levels my emotions in ways I find pleasurable. binding/an elective mastectomy would minimize parts of my body I don’t have use for and find obstructive. a hysterectomy would eliminate monthly bleeding, as I have no desire to be fertile. still a woman!
I could get whatever procedure I want to my body and it wouldn’t be anyone’s business lmaoooo it’s so reductive to just be like “woman when boobs and period” when plenty of women don’t fit that description for whatever natural, medical, elective, etc. reason. weirdos
