If youβre a VRChat streamer, do NOT use Crystal Relay, as it includes a backdoor for the developer of the app, βScreminpal,β to control your avatarβs parameters (toggles) and even force you to turn into a different avatar, all without your consent.
Hey so if you're going to make a plugin to connect Twitch to VRC, don't be this person.
Crystal Relay allows Twitch chat to control your avatar via channel points, subs, bits, etc. (Including changing to a different avatar on your account)
The plugin, however, has a backdoor for the developer, Screminpal, to have master controls over your avatar whenever they want and, from my personal experience, they will just do it without asking for your consent. You cannot turn off this backdoor btw. The dev can just come in and mess with you whenever they want and you have no control over it.
Their excuse is "It's clearly stated in the GitHub that I can do this"

Guys, yesterday my avatar Yokai won Best Scratch Built Avatar in the first @Jinxxy_com competition ever and I'm really happy about it ππ
There isn't many people working on full scratch avatars in the market so I'm thankful that they had a category that celebrates artists like me. And thank u everyone that voted for my avi xD.
I hope even more people will participate in the future! Both voting and competing! If you are a creator you should def keep an eye on what the Jinxxy team been trying to do.
