AI AGENT SHORT REPORT 1. AI Agents Are an Inevitable Trend AI Agents are not a narrative unique to crypto. They are the result of the global AI boom over the past few years. Global semiconductor industry revenue reached $791.7 billion in 2025, increasing 25.6% compared to the previous year. Revenue is expected to approach $1 trillion by 2026. At the same time, AI semiconductor revenue alone exceeded $200 billion in 2025, showing that demand for GPUs, HBM, and AI chips is growing rapidly. AI Agents do not require tokens to operate, but crypto provides the economic infrastructure such as wallets, payments, and smart contracts. This allows AI Agents to become economic actors. ------------------------------------------------------------ 2. New Standards Emerging to Support the AI Agent Trend As AI Agents become more common, several infrastructure standards are being proposed to support the development of an Agent Economy. x402 → Micropayments for APIs ERC-8004 → Agent discovery + reputation ERC-8126 → Agent verification + privacy ERC-8183 → Escrowed task settlement ------------------------------------------------------------ 3. Market Is Still Stuck in Old Thinking Despite the strong AI Agent narrative, the crypto market is still limited by old patterns of thinking. Simply putting an AI SaaS product on blockchain and issuing a token is not enough to create a new economy.
