It isn’t just about dialogue delivery or emotional scenes. He disappears into the character through his voice modulation, changing pitch, rhythm and intensity according to Hamza’s emotional state; through his physicality, posture, mannerisms and even the way he occupies space; through extraordinary facial acting and the tiny reactions that happen between dialogues; and most importantly, through his ability to internalise the character rather than constantly "perform" for the camera. There’s a real chameleon quality here, where the actor’s own personality seems to disappear and Hamza takes over. He can be restrained one moment and deeply volatile the next without making either feel artificial. The listening, pauses, eye movements, breathing, silences and emotional transitions all feel character-specific. That combination of transformation, voice work, physical characterisation, emotional range, subtlety and psychological depth is what makes the performance feel so complete. For me, this isn't simply one of the standout performances of 2026. It is the kind of performance where you stop noticing the actor and start believing entirely in the person on screen and to match this performance is task to do.
