What a fantastic achievement by a community. Delivered on time and on budget! The Station at #HenleyinArden shows what can be done when the railway & the community truly come together. In less than 12 months since "The Station" opened in February 2024 it has already given £15k to local charities/good causes including £2k to the volunteers at the 18 stations between #Birmingham & #StratforduponAvon - this is an exemplar of a project enabled by @NetworkRailBHM @RailwayHeritage @WestMidRailway & supported by @EHSmith @HeartCRP @WeAreOpenreach @gridcustomersuk @stwater

Recently @friendsofWGts & Chester Road Station Friends spend the morning at Sutton Coldfield Station completing a Heritage Awareness Morning. It was a huge success with wonderful displays, and some great discussions about the history of the local stations.
