In terms of research output in sciences, 19 out of the top 25 universities in the world are in China.
Chinese universities are hands down the most research intensive in natural sciences, math and computer sciences.
This is why China now leads in manufacturing, of all sectors, because our industries are being fed with high quality STEM talents.

Royal Household costs UK taxpayer £510m a year, enough to pay 18,000 NHS nurses.
Govt does not publish the full cost. Secrecy/Opacity prevails.
Can UK be called an equal opportunities country if an ordinary person cannot rise to become the head of state?

Keeping the Great in Great Britain 🇬🇧
We’ve spent at least £1bn on the royals in the last two years. Estimated £345m a year plus the huge costs of a jubilee, funeral and pointless coronation. And the costs keep rising.
But of course we can’t afford more for the NHS or child support.

Anyone know the genetic or physiological basis behind the dual flower pigmentation within the same inflorescence? Perhaps like in hydrangea? Plants are cool!

New: "Genetically optimizing soybean nodulation improves yield and protein content" rdcu.be/dH4iZ
Optimizing soybean nodulation, rather than supernodulation, improves N and C assimilation by balancing source–sink relationships. Yield and protein content are increased.

It’s hilarious watching the West collectively ignore the fact that Israel bombed an Iranian embassy recently, killing 13 so far.
“Two wrongs don’t make a right,” but it’s an important point that most humans agree is very relevant.
The West continues its fall.
