It took me 28 billable hours to get out this little overachiever. I hope he pays me a bonus, I deserve 😂🤍

Sitting here contemplating the fact that my 5 years old ate FOUR chicken drumsticks for dinner today. This can’t be real life.

As you get older, being open to receiving criticism and feedback with little no defensiveness will exponentially change the health of all types of relationships you have

Wholeheartedly agree with this. Society just accepts showing up for every whim of married &/or parents but outside of that things are often presented as fanciful or an inconvenience. Its actually unacceptable.
as a single childless woman, you can show up for countless bridal showers, weddings, baby showers, kid's birthday parties, anniversary dinners etc. but if you want even a modicum of reciprocation suddenly it's mortifying and beyond the pale. lol ok.

I'd like to make a statement on behalf of the recipients of this inflamatory letter who may be too polite or shy to respond. @HMRCgovuk @HMRCcustomers We don't want a 'relationship' with anyone in your department whatsoever. We, through our tax advisers, will pay what is legally due, not a penny less and certainly not a penny more. Then we want you to fuck off out of our lives.
🚨 IN FULL - HMRC letter to wealthy Britons : "I hope we can build an open and productive working relationship" 🤡

This and the state of the tax system are two sides of the same coin. No one wants anyone to have single moment of peace.
My friends son is 21, he’s just got his first proper job with a salary of £2300 a month. He still lives at home and doesn’t yet pay anything. My mate says he’s going to ask for £600 a month towards the house bills Is that the right thing to do?

Cocodamol always humbles me. The three day use limit is for *me*. I could never try hard drugs, my life would be cooked.

Tbh all of my spending is on credit, I clear it at the end of the month. It just makes sense for money management. I don’t keep any cash in current accounts.

“eeeyuck!” is my favourite thing to say now. Whoever popularised this, well done. Very complete way to show displeasure.

My uni not even making it onto the scale is entirely characteristic, actually.
Love this. Pleased that I’m merely ‘insufferable’ 🤣

If you work, stand up. (Yikes) …If you work through business, stand up. Oh erm, if you have ever thought about what it might be like to work, Stand. Up! 🤣

Will the last landlord turn off the lights…
From 6 April 2027, UK property income gets its own tax rates: 22%, 42% and 47%, two points above today. The Section 24 mortgage interest credit rises to 22%. England and Northern Ireland; Scotland and Wales set their own. After-tax is the only yield that counts. Not tax advice.

Chat has suddenly decided to remove 100% of stocks & shares ISA from its analysis in respect of having a “financial cushion” and has only included literal cash in bank, cash ISA and premium bonds. Worrying perspective to provide advice that over-indexes on cash like that.

Even USDC was excluded entirely as contributive to a financial cushion because of the risk of depegging + FX risk. I honestly think this is too aggressive.

Wow. This is a great result for tenants, terrible for landlords. Its essentially the rent controls that many have asked for. Impact on property market remains to be seen. I expect only corporate landlords can afford to take on this kind of risk.
Property Tribunal judgment Tenant challenges £50 rent increase for rent at £1,650 per month. Judgment decides that market rent is £1450. assets.publishing.service.go…
