Someone owed me R600k, accepted the court order to pay, didn’t pay and nothing can be done. Don’t spend your R20k yet. It seems these court orders are meaningless
Meet Mr Mongwane who I consider one of the best lawyers in South Africa, someone was owing me R20,000 for 6 months, and they didn't want to pay me back.
He asked, “Any proof that they owe you money?” I told him no, I gave the person cash. He then instructed me to write the person a whatsApp text to pay me my R50,000. I was now confused, “Sir, but what he is owing me is R20,000.”
He looked at me and said, “Don't worry, just do as I have told you.” Well, I continued and did as I was told and sent a text to the guy and told him he owes me R50,000. The person replied and said “What!! Uyanya NO, I owe you R20,000 and not R50,000.”
I then showed Counsel Mr Mongwqne the reply. He was like “Take a screenshot of that Message, that is the evidence we will use in court that he owes you money.”
Today we won the court case and I will be getting my money.🫡
Watching the world athletics champs for the last few weeks has been an absolute treat. Incredible entertainment and talent. @SuperSportTV is incredible value for what it delivers.
U18 Boks beat England convincingly
This has to go down as one of the darkest weekends in South African sporting history. The Proteas fell short in the T20I series decider against Australia, the Springboks were dismantled by the Wallabies on home soil and lost their Rank no 1 status, and to top it off, Dricus du Plessis lost his middleweight UFC title to Khamzat Chimaev. Brutal.

I can’t wait to see the LinkedIn crowd start waxing lyrical about the management lessons from being bombed out of the RWC, to coming back against the best of UK rugby and beating the Boks at Ellis Park for the first time in living memory.
SA five-for weekend so far is 1/5. SA U18 beat England. SA U18A lost to France. Proteas lost. Boks lost. I’ll be up early tomorrow to see Dricus get us a 2/5 finish. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🤞🤞🤞
Please shhhh about Dricus 🤐
Pollock and @RassieRugby
Did you watch the match? Boks yellow ran parallel to AB, so it was 14 on 14 for most of the 20 min red, then both full strength. The AB captain was very gracious in defeat. And SA captain gave due respect to AB’s. You could learn something from these 19 year olds.
