Hi @JDVance what “attachment” to this land do your Indian immigrant in-laws Radhakrishna Chilukuri and Lakshmi Chilukuri have please? And do you say this racist stuff to their faces or just save it for mainly-white MAGA rallies?
Vance on El-Sayed: We have to understand what happens when our nation gives into these kinds of people with zero attachment to its land or to its history. What we saw in France, the hatred, the ingratitude, the desire to destroy rather than a desire to build, that exact same cancer that has corrupted El-Sayed.

Just four corporations raked in over 25% of all federal corporate tax breaks last year. Alphabet: $19 BILLION Microsoft: $18.7 BILLION Amazon: $17.4 BILLION Meta: $13.9 BILLION Two loopholes alone saved them $46 BILLION. They can afford to pay taxes. We just don't make them.

Trump wants to build more dirty, expensive gas to power massive data centers, and he’s turned the EPA into Every Polluter’s Ally to make this wish come true. No more of this corrupt administration bowing to fossil fuel CEOs at the expense of working people.

I live in an affluent city with a high immigrant population. I will never forget seeing a video last year of a man being forcefully dragged out of his white minivan by three armed ICE agents at 7:30 in the morning, on a quiet neighborhood street here. Never forgive. 🇺🇸

So many Muslims served honorably in our military and have given an incredible amount to this country. All veterans should be speaking out against this vile Islamophobia. It is un-American and a cancer on our country.
Trump: El-Sayed would be the only senator that will have to go through a metal detector before he's allowed to go into the Senate. I want him to have a metal detector

I am cordially inviting CBP Commissioner Rodney Scott to backpack the Outer Mountain Loop with me and experience why many locals are skeptical of this (alongside the 66 years of data suggesting that regardless of what’s happening on the border, Big Bend remains pretty static)

In August, President Trump announced he had signed the “biggest oil deal in world history.” ProPublica reviewed the deal and found it gives a small group of people largely handpicked by the Trump administration long-term control of the enterprise. propublica.org/article/trump…

I lived outside Iowa for about 15 years and voted by absentee ballot many times before moving back. The problem isn't having a ballot mailed to another state. The problem is, @ZachLahn has repeatedly said he moved to Iowa in 2023, then had his ballot mailed to Kansas in 2024.
Not the main point of this article, but wow: "Mr. Lahn cast an Iowa ballot in the 2024 general election. But voting records that have not previously been reported show he requested that his ballot be mailed to him — in Kansas." I did not think to check that!

Given the federal government’s denial that there is any pattern of immigration agents holding U.S. citizens, ProPublica did its own count. We found that 500+ Americans were detained, including at least 70 children and teens. propublica.org/article/ameri…

the negative case against AI gets stronger every day; even Altman admits the problems are very serious with no obvious solution. the positive case, meanwhile, looks weaker every day. a quote from Apollo’s Torsten Slok: “Despite massive investments and widespread hype around artificial intelligence, the technology has delivered zero financial payoff to corporate America outside of tech. Revenue per worker is… flat for the S&P 493…. Profit margins are… flat for the S&P 493…. No signs of AI boosting [measured] productivity growth…. Mainstream corporate America is pulling back and starting to view token spending… as a cost center…. Mainstream corporate America does not need the latest model and is unwilling to pay for it. As long as agentic AI and token spending are confined to a small part of the economy, the macroeconomic effects of AI will be very limited.” apollo.com/wealth/insights-n…
