Republicans won’t cancel student loan or medical debt for us, but want taxpayers to bail out their billionaire campaign donors’ companies when they fail.
BREAKING: House Democrats have officially introduced a resolution saying Congress should let failing AI companies go bankrupt instead of bailing them out if the AI bubble bursts. It also calls for executives who took reckless risks to be held accountable under civil and criminal law.

Why are two Democratic governors in two of America's bluest states using their power to try to kill ballot initiatives to raise taxes on billionaires? Follow the money - and pay attention to oligarch class solidarity.

Capitalism is inherently self-destructive, because it requires infinite growth, which is impossible. In order to emulate "growth," capitalism is desperately trying to automate as much labor as possible. Making billions every year isn't enough. The profit must *increase.*
Microsoft just made $133.7 BILLION in net income last year. Today they announced they are getting rid of 60,000 workers. Fuck these companies man.

The "Middle Class" didn't disappear, it was deliberately dismantled. In 1978, CEO pay was 30x the average worker. Today it's 351x. They didn't get 351x smarter or work 351x harder. They just rewrote the rules so all the productivity gains go to the top while you get a pizza party.

'Socialists want free stuff' is capitalism's great lie. They want the fruits of our labor shared fairly, instead of letting the richest 1% hold nearly half the world's wealth.

The Department of Education is simultaneously cutting staff by 50% *and* trying to ramp up debt collection efforts on student loans *while* gutting affordable repayment plans, raising people's bills and being unresponsive to its own errors. This system is a disaster.

Sierra Club's new analysis shows that data centers are largely powered by toxic, deadly methane gas. If left unchecked, we could lose 15 years of climate progress. We are demanding data centers prioritize our climate, our planet, and our futures, NOW! bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

I’LL SAY IT AGAIN: If your job requires a college degree, you should be able to write off your student loan payments as a business expense the way CEOs write off their private jets and yachts for their jobs which require neither.

everyone has "oh I'm not political" friends and family like this. Politics are disgusting and professing neutrality is how they think they stay clean. It's about as sneaky as a toddler with a full diaper partially hiding behind the drapes. "I didn't poop." Buddy...we have noses
Last month, Kirk Herbstreit said he doesn't follow politics or pick sides. Which was nonsense. Just last week, Herbstreit quietly headlined a fundraising dinner for Alabama's second-biggest PAC. The next day, it sent $155,000 to Tommy Tuberville. foiaball.com/p/kirk-herbstre…

Trump is the most dangerous president in our history. He's an authoritarian who does not believe in the rule of law. This election is not about Ds vs. Rs. It's about whether we maintain a rubber-stamp GOP Congress that aids and abets Trump — or finally hold him accountable.
