How. The. Fuck. Do they have this many employees?
BREAKING: DocuSign says it may lay off up to 162,000 employees.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
As of Docusign's most recent 10-K filing, Docusign had 7,044 employees as of 1/31/2026, making it impossible to lay off 162,000 employees.

Growing up, my mother always told me “family is all there is” and I would roll my eyes and prioritize my peer relationships—as young people do.
Now, as a parent, I get it. There are so many “shooting stars” in your life and you only get so much time with those who matter most.

I know this will be unpopular but why is every celebration a whole ass trip now? That’s an ask for anyone, kids or not. Every wedding is on some remote mountain and now…bday parties too? Nah.
My friend wants to plan a couples, no-kids weekend getaway, splitting the cost of a large AirBNB, in January for her 30th birthday. I really do not love this idea (husband is mortified), neither to spend the money nor to get someone to take the toddler for 3 days. It would be a 2.5 hour drive away for us, too, so it’s not like we’re close if something happens. I haven’t been away from him for even 1 night yet and he still just seems so young! It would be very hard to leave him for that long.
Am I just a party pooper who needs to get over it? Genuine question. Like I actually need advice here guys

See, under my dictatorship every bike would be registered and have some form of recognition so they can be sent a fine the post like the rest of us

New: Sources from three countries confirm that the Trump Administration has advocated Viktor Orbán for UN Secretary-General.
The US has encouraged Orbán to enter the race, even bringing him the initial idea of a joint U.S.-Russia-China candidacy.

Reaction to the Vivek advert should be a warning to UK politicians as our politics heads increasingly into the mud. Likely given partisan identity/polarisation are lower in the UK, that British voters would react even worse and punish even more attacks/slurs that cross the line.
NEW: We convened a group of ten Ohio Trump voters.
Half were supportive of Vivek. Half were luke warm.
We played them the ad.
You will not wanna miss the results

“accidentally”
UK Coastguard coordinated response which included sending RAF P-8A Poseidon to assist 🇷🇺Russian shadow fleet tanker MV Myra that sent distress call around midnight last night while in severe weather in North Atlantic.
Ship is in ballast en route to Egypt from Russia.
The aircraft established contact with the crew, who said the distress signal had been activated accidentally and the ship did not require assistance.

I’m obsessed with the inclusion of a fondue cooker in the Swiss emergency stockpile calculator thingy
Gotta admire the commitment to the national dish! 🧀
Replying to @FennellJW
The Swiss government website is much better and includes a very handy emergency supplies calculator:

I think these 2 datasets demonstrate the logic of "going early" in 2027 pretty conclusively.
LAB would likely LOSE a significant number of seats, but would lose far fewer than waiting until 2029, after 2.5 more years of fiscal/inflationary pressure, potential Tory revival & difficult compromises. Good will is always spent over time, even with the best of intentions.
The options are:
A) govern for another 5 yrs, enact progressive constitutional reform (PR+HoL abolition/Senate of Regions+English Mayoral Devo) + build a National Care Service with a small majority or in coalition with LDs after a 2027 election, AFTER WHICH a future of European-style, cobbled together LAB-LIB-GRN-CELTIC NATIONALIST centre-Left coalitions would be the future of Left politics under PR, OR...
B) Lose to a revived Tory Party in 2029 & watch the Reform hard right potentially prop them up and reverse the Employment Rights act, Renters Rights Act, sell off bits of GB Energy/NWF, start putting rail services back out to private tender, leave the ECHR etc.
I SUSPECT Burnham's pro-Europe stuff is a way of herding much of the centre-Left bloc back under the LAB banner without "abolishing neoliberalism". And it will (I HOPE) largely remain on the level of signalling/vibes rather than 2nd ref/rejoin promises (which would fracture the country and the old Labour coalition in unpredictable ways).
Not making a value judgement on any of these things (I wholeheartedly oppose rejoin, see: unherd.com/2026/10/brussels-…) but you can see the logic of all this from the perspective of a progressive PLP/Labour Party.
Westminster Voting Intention:
LAB: 32% (+5)
CON: 24% (+3)
RFM: 20% (-3)
LDM: 9% (+1)
GRN: 8% (-5)
SNP: 3% (-1)
RES: 3% (=)
