I've been really curious and inspired by the ANS-108 spec and this concept of 'renderers' and how they can play into increasing composability on the permaweb so much so I had a play around and have created a little audio renderer ✨ - here's my initial explorations & thoughts 🧵

if this tech would actually solve the big issues, it might be worth all this dehumanization. but it doesn't seem to do that, with no clear path forward. what we are left with is magic buttons, that entice us to give away our agency, that make us stop growing, that turn us into consumers.

while a great percentage of web3 folks (especially) and the tech world in general are facing outages due to AWS us-east-1 (erm, the world's data center is rekt), it's a good reminder to go baremetal and rely as little as possible on SaaS (also save a lot of $$$). that's something we did a few months ago and since then we run the majority of our services on a k8s'd baremetal (hint, leveraging pingora too), soon we will open source our infra setup. meanwhile, you can use @useload HyperBEAM S3 as it isn't down :D gateway.s3-node-1.load.netwo…

small note: the "Check credits" button is for where users logged in with Arconnect currently need to sign it can actually be removed when using Othent so user doesn't have to set off a request to get their Turbo credit balance, it will happen automatically
