People think New Zealand is right next to Australia, but it isn't.
The distance between Sydney and Auckland is about the same as New York to Dallas, or London to Kyiv.
Today, an Uber driver delivered a drink to me and took a photo of my passport for age verification.
There was an extra layer of security, with some additional questions.
He showed me his app, but he didn't know how to explain in English what it was asking for. His app was set to Mandarin.
Luckily, I know how "date of birth" is written in Mandarin, so I read the request and entered the right details.
Ladies and gentlemen,
Today, I was able to receive an Australian service only because I, a white man, could read a bit of Chinese.
I am watching The Expanse, and the video time is nearly the same as the ad time.
You are messing it up, and the Chutzpah you think you can get away with this is disgusting.
Will cancel after finishing the series @amazon

my spidey senses are telling me the labs are, as we speak, using unguardrailed versions of their unreleased models to systematically reverse-engineer ALL of the internet’s software, apps, and games, then feeding the reconstructed source code straight into their training pipelines while simultaneously building guardrails to ladder-pull the rest of us

@evajsteinman and I surveyed 500 Americans to predict what's next.
We're also interviewing people at the cutting edge of health & tech about what they do themselves. My interview with @hubermanlab is out today.
Having fun. Self contained model, 8.8mb full package with full precision. Still lots of room here.
I will try to push this down to 600K parameters.
The plan:
The plan:
Width 120 → 92 and context 256 → 128 tokens. The current longest training example is under 128 tokens, so the shorter context should cost nothing. Same 4 layers, same tokenizer, so the browser engine works unchanged.
One of the biggest misconceptions in enterprise AI is that adoption equals transformation.
It doesn’t.
You can give 10,000 employees access to AI, run hundreds of experiments and still have fundamentally the same business operating model.
The real transformation happens when you redesign workflows, decision rights and accountability around what AI can actually do.
If your processes, team structures and decision-making haven’t changed, you’ve probably introduced another tool rather than transformed the organisation.
An expensive distinction.
Claude is the Apple of the AI world.
It is so "special" that if you want to use the harness you need to rebuild your integration config most of the time.

A litmus test of financial literacy:
If you believe a 4% investment return or a 5% dividend yield automatically means you can spend that amount every year, and you're comfortable retiring on that assumption, you are financially illiterate.
You're ignoring inflation, taxes, market volatility, and the difference between nominal returns and sustainable withdrawals.
You are set to lose.

If your VERY FIRST reaction to watching a horrific Learjet crash is “That looks fake,” “It was a missile,” or “Where’s the debris?” then congratulations. You’ve just identified yourself as the perfect mark for every conspiracy grifter on the internet.
It’s the same breathtaking stupidity that gave us the 9/11 Pentagon “missile” and “missing debris” conspiracy theories.
A horrific tragedy unfolds before your eyes, and before you know a single fact, your first instinct is to invent a conspiracy. STFU & GTFO!
You’re not “just asking questions.” You’re broadcasting your ignorance, your gullibility, and your complete inability to distinguish evidence from bullshit.
And the people exploiting these tragedies know EXACTLY who you are. They know how to manipulate you, outrage you, and keep you coming back for another helping of manufactured mystery.
They turn human suffering into conspiracy content, and you eagerly spread it for them.
You think you’re exposing a cover-up. You’re actually exposing how easily you can be played.
The grifters have a product. You’re the customer.
