I can’t wait for midterms to be over so that the discourse can go from “protecting trans rights is a losing issue and a necessary sacrifice if we want democrats to win” to “it’s trans people’s fault that democrats lost”

the implication with this discourse is always that transition is a choice.

the ability to create life was robbed from me by a genetic accident and my consolation prize is to have testosterone mutilate my vocal cords?

like, we aren’t doing this for the love of the game. some people are, apparently, but it’s just a denial of our medical condition to act like transsexuals are doing this for fun.

frankly you also shouldnt let your cis partner fearmonger about aspects of transition you dont want for yourself. that a conversation that a good partner to any trans person should be willing to have, right? kindof need to be able to tell your partner they fucked up when they do

Non-transitioning “gay trans man” “son” vs fully transitioned bearded trans man “lesbian” son?

libs were on here not even two days ago calling a trans woman crazy for being worried that the party is abandoning us. sure hope they have their condemnation ready, like they definitely did for talarico and brown.
#IAPol: "No Iowan should face discrimination. As a Paralympian, I also know it's important to have rules. It's why I oppose males competing in female sports ... I'm against taxpayers paying for sex changes, too." Josh Turek is up with a new #IASen ad. Future reservations: 🔵$18.0M 🔴$15.5M

i'd still get srs even if it meant nobody would ever be sexually attracted to me. being 'hot' isn't what this is about

you people don't understand dysphoria in the slightest
Dysphoria might not develop in the first place when gender is abolished.

it’s genuinely weird to me how many people picked up the brain bug to not put a space between trans and man/woman. it’s grammatically wrong AND just not how you say that. i don’t get how it’s as common as it is, the terf psyop can’t have been that strong.

i don’t think i’ve taken more than 100 in my entire life and i get frequent headaches?! genuinely how does one get through 500 before their quality and effectiveness significantly decays?
This ibuprofen discourse has completely thrown me off because what do you even mean you need to buy bottles of 500 man are you taking ibuprofen for paper cuts???

and like i get that some people have severe and persistent pains but it’s ibuprofen? surely you get a better painkiller in that case because it’s not long-lasting, stable or particularly effective.
