The autistic 12-year-old Noya Dan was burned alive with her grandmother in Nir Oz by Hamas terrorists on October 7th 2023.

For 584 days, Edan Alexander's parents lived every parent's nightmare, waiting and fighting for any sign that their son would come home.
Edan, then a 19-year-old IDF soldier originally from New Jersey, was captured and dragged into Gaza by Hamas during the October 7 attack.
His parents remember the call that changed everything after the October 7 attack, the agonizing months that followed, and the push that took them from one administration to the next, eventually reaching President Trump and Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff.
Then, Adi Alexander looked at his phone and saw several missed calls from Witkoff. Edan is coming home.
The American-Israeli soldier, who grew up in New Jersey, was freed after 584 days in Hamas captivity. His mother recalls running toward him when they finally reunited: "Now we are seeing Edan like it's the first time."
Months later, Edan made clear that surviving captivity isn't the end of his story: "I will once again put on the IDF uniform, and I will proudly serve alongside my brothers. My story does not end with survival. It continues with service."

They say memories are written in stone. But for Israelis, the memories of this horrific day are written in blood and tears.
Today I visited Kibbutz Be'eri and the Nova Festival site, and stood where so many of our nation's beautiful souls were murdered. So many young lives, full of promise, stolen in a single day.
We owe it to them and their families who are left behind, to do right by their memory: to ensure justice is served, and to build a future where this can never happen again!
I'm reminded of Golda Meir's words after the 1973 Yom Kippur War, which still hold true today:
"We'll be forgiven for many things, all but one, and that's weakness. The moment we are marked as weak, it's over. This is an unforgivable sin."
Three years later, we must finally end this war, restore safety and security to our nation, and restore our position as a strong nation, one respected and feared by our enemies. #oct7 #neverforget #neveragain
