Agreed
The saddest part about Angel McCoughtry’s comments on Caitlin Clark’s looks is how it exposes the deep misogyny in WNBA. They’re sabotaging women, turning around and judging them on their looks. Hatred rooted in jealousy is becoming a disgusting theme for this league.
Folks are trying to build up a league yet its veterans are out here calling one of the most recognisable faces of the league ugly. Imagine if someone would have called angel ugly.
Agreed!
In case you are wondering, I am still 100% behind this team
Our young guys are developing really well
We have the strongest young center core in the league with Bedard, Frondell, Nazar and Greene down the middle
Kantserov is a stud and Moore is getting better with each game
Our young defenders can play with anyone. Levehunov has been great and Rinzel is starting to feel comfortable now and skating more and more with the puck, shooting and driving some offense
Yes, we need more scoring wingers with size
Some are already in the system like Nestrasil and Roobroeck
Others we will trade for
The future is bright. Just because you can't see the light at the end of the tunnel, it doesn't mean it doesn't exist
I invite all the doomers, gloomers and wierdos into the comments
Have a great weekend everyone
Go Hawks!

Y'all moved from "Caitlin can't be the face of the league because she's not the best player, that's Aja" to "Angel's the face of the league because 'everyone' is talking about her."
Soooooo which one is it? Y'all finally agree you can be the face without being the best or???
I think you’re funny, but your comments during last night’s national broadcast on TNT were disappointing. Everyone knows this team isn’t great right now, but what do you expect with two rookies in the top six and a core that’s roughly 21 years old?
It’s easy for two career grinders to take shots at young players with actual high-end talent. Look, you both played at a higher level than I ever did, and I respect that. But the way you guys went after these kids last night was bush league.
Can we stop saying Prime Bedard. We have young Bedard. Kid is still 3 years from his prime. Like since when is a 21 year old in there priming the nhl.

His language is always about “building” and “being better”.
That’s such a cop out for a team that has prime Bedard.
We have the pieces necessary to win games even if they’re sometimes ugly but the mentality we have is weak and not a winning one
The Blackhawks drafted Keith in 2002, Seabrook and Byfuglien in 2003, Bolland and Brouwer in 2004, and Hjalmarsson in 2005. They also acquired Sharp in 2005.
Toews was drafted in 2006 and Kane in 2007.
The foundation was being built FIVE YEARS before Kane arrived. They reached the conference finals in 2009 and won the Cup in 2010.
That championship core took 7–8 years to build, and Kane and Toews joined an organization that had already spent years assembling its foundation.
There’s a difference between understanding that building a championship roster takes time and accepting mediocrity.

Sean, you’ve accepted mediocrity for so long that you’ve mistaken it for a winning strategy. You’re perfectly fine wasting Bedard’s prime while waiting for rookies to pan out. At this point, mediocrity isn’t just your standard, it’s your comfort zone. You’re part of the problem.
Jeffery Simmons reminded me of when the Bears acquired Julius Peppers. Just an absolute force who changes an entire defense.
Last night against Seattle:
Simmons ON the field: 3.0 yards allowed per play.
Simmons OFF the field: 13.3 yards allowed per play.
Seattle double-teamed him 13 times.
Small sample size when he was off the field, but those numbers are ridiculous. His impact goes well beyond the box score. This is the kind of player who makes everyone around him better. He is a game wrecker!
The #Bears overpaid.
That was what everyone said when the Jeffery Simmons trade went down.
One game into his tenure with the team, it's possible they got a discount.
Yes, seriously.

The Bears just beat both teams from last year’s Super Bowl in back-to-back primetime games
